so I was downloading a bittorrent file, using the official downloader, and had to turn my computer off. when I restarted, and loaded up the downloader again, it rebuilt the file up to the percentage it was at, which was like 85%. however, it's no longer downloading or uploading, it's not paused, and it just has the percentage done and a question mark. anyone know how I could fix this or get it connected to the tracker or whatever? I've had my computer on for the past two days downloading a 3GB file, and I'd hate to lose it all. thanks.

Most likley no one is Seeding the file anymore. No Seeds=No File.

I wish that was the case, but on the website I got it from, it said there was like 20 or 30 seeders.

You could try reinstalling the client or switching to a different one and then point it at the partial file. It should resume the unfinished file(s) just fine.

I've noticed that even when I had just peers and no seeds I was getting some data and once and awhile a seed would show up - so I just left it alone. For awhile I was't getting any data, then I was. Then towards the very very end, I had tons of seeds. I eventually got the whole thing after a couple of days. It was weird.
I'm refering to this, btw:
