Jae Lee :(
Loved his work in the TF vs GI Joe crossover, was the only one who did, but for an ULTIMATE book? What are you thinking Marvel. Booooo!

I've still to pick up the first few volumes of this.
But I'd be interested to see what he can come up with.

Rubbish is what! Not the kind of art you'd link with an Ultimate book at all. Bah!

I did. It wasn't that bad. And Jae Lee's artwork is alright. I'll admit I prefer some of Marvels other artists though, but like you said, could be worst. Any one read Ultimate X-Men issues 23 and 24? The artwork by Kaare Andrews I'd say was pretty good, but it was an anime/cartoony type of style which I'd say is completely wrong for an Ultimate title.

I like jae Lee. As for an Ult book, it's doesn't really fit but I can deal. I much prefer Lee to work on Hulk. His stuff there was perfect. And Hulk/Thing Hard Knocks was great.

Bah! Should have gotten Jim Mahfood, who technically has done Ult. FF before. :p

I actually liked his work way back in the days, and the latest Hulk. His art fit the mood of that issue. I liked the way he drew every character.......every character except the Hulk that is. Hulk was too wrinkled and looked small. But other then that, I liked his art.

As somebody here once said, in regard to Jae Lee's TF/G.I.Joe artwork...I could take a dump on a piece of paper, and it'd better than his artwork :lol

That was Devilzfan, but I liked it, very awesome, made the TF's really feel giant and alien.

This DevilzFan guy is smart.
Jae Lee art = me smearing dog crap on paper and calling it art.

I've been meaning to pick up the first 2 TPB for a while.
Mind you my local comic shop hardly stocks anything I like.

wow, i finally picked up my books, and i thought UFF 19-20 was freaking great.
I've ALWAYS liked Jae Lees art, and thought he did a great job of "smoothing" his style to fit in the Ultimate-verse.
And the story was damn cool, great Ultimateization of the Mad Thinker. the bit with her brother was absoufreakinglotutely bone chilling.
I'm very sad Mark Millar is taking this book over :(
