Well, after the Saturday Uber Toyhunt, we managed to see Thundercrackers, Galvatrons, and plenty of wave 4 minicons all up the I69 Corridor. So I'd be willing to bet they are all across Northern Indiana.

Found all of the new Mini-cons at the Target (they had 1 sea team and 1 Dark Saber left), and I got the last two Thundercrackers from the Wal-Mart. At least they've hit Indy, now.

Found two interesting Night Attack teams on Unicron Battles cards (they even re-did the insert with their names on it under the bubble in orange, too). Date code: 31521

I'm betting they re-card every figure out there just so another has to buy another set... :)

Update: I just put them together, and my Prime was missing a block and Jetfire had a deformed laser blaster that was about a quarter of an inch shorter than the other. Be sure to check your sets... I had bought 2 of each, one to keep sealed, but I'd hate to find out the sealed ones are missing pieces in a few years...

Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyone has found anything good at TRU with their Minicon and Supercon sale? I was just at the 38th St TRU this afternoon, and they didn't have a single thing I wanted.

On a different note, I've seen a lot more HOC Wave 3 showing up at multiple local Meijer stores, but it still seems to be rather sporadic.

For those of you who didn't know, Meijer has a sale this week on Maxcons. $16.99. I just got Overload and Skywarp from the Mooresville Meijer last night.

K-Mart on West Washington St. in Indy had 2 on the shelf with "NEW!" stickers (Date Code 31821), plus two cases with 2 each that were still on a pallet... I looked inside one and they didn't appear to have the "NEW!" sticker or CD inside. I bought the 2 that were on the shelf, so 4 are left.

On a side note, be sure to check your Sam's Club Ultra Magnus's hands to make sure they're correct. Mine had two hands with the 4 fingers that are hinged that were lefties. Took it back this morning and exchanged it...

I just accidentally found the Armada Prime Keychain Flashlight at the Wal-Mart in Plainfield, IN for $2.97. They were on one of those plastic stips they can hang a dozen things on and tack up anywhere in the store. This strip had 10 of them and was hanging on the first island you pass by in the main aisle that the toy aisles are off of (towards the front of the store). All of the cards were bashed up pretty bad, though.

I stopped by the Wal-Marts in Angola, Auburn, and Fort Wayne (East) today. They all had the aisle displays of the bonus packs, but the only ones they had were Air Assault/Sea and Night Attack/Space. Apparently different areas are getting different combinations. :(

Both Costco's in Indy have displays of supercon 2 packs set up... they had 3 different combinations: Cyclonus/Smokescreen, Demolishor/Smokescreen, and Cyclonus/Demolishor ($14.99 each). I'm wondering if Hasbro just broke open old cases of supercons to divide between these and K-Mart's bonus packs, or if other Costco's have different ones.

I still need to get my hands on a couple of the air assault/sea team mini-con Wal-Mart sets (hopefully those are all I'm missing...)

I just got back from the Plainfield Walmart.

What are the different versions of Skyblast and Strongarm?
Does it have to do with the Autobot symbols? I saw that
some were normal (with lines) and some were all-red.
I also noticed that Strongarm's face was showing on the
all-red version. Any other differences or does that cover it?
How do you spot these things? It took me a few minutes of
staring at these guys before I finally realized there was a
difference.

Also, no sign of Rapid Run at any of the stores I've checked
out recently.

Blast it. I was just at that Meijer 30 minutes ago and it was gone.
Of course, I wasn't looking for it, so maybe I just missed it. Oh well, E Unicron will probably be pretty easy to find eventually. I saw the Energon Basics there, but I already picked those up.

Some of the Transformers sections in area stores have been pretty sparse lately. I was at the TRU Castleton around 6, and they had virtually nothing left. I did see the Energon Jetfires and reissue Smokescreens. The Meijer in Muncie (or was that the Meijer on 96th St? I've been to so many stores today that I lost track) got in a bunch of Tankor/Obsidians and DepthCharges, so I picked some of those up. They didn't have much else, though. I picked up some of the 30% off BTR at 38th St TRU. They've sold through a ton of TF toys compared to what they had a few days ago.

So whats on sale locally?

The Wal-Mart in Kendallville finally got in its first batch of Energon yesterday: two cases of wave 1.5 deluxes (Hot Shot, Inferno, Starscream), and one case each of wave 1.5 megas (Ironhide, Jetfire), wave 1 supers (Optimus), and wave 1 supremes (Unicron).

Found Rapid Run at the Wal-Mart in Greenwood (quite a few left), and one left at the TRU there. (around 1:30pm)

At the Wal-Mart, they have 2 endcaps full of Energon, one with basics, and one with deluxes. They had some Alternator Smokescreens, too.

If anyone figures out how to tell a no-mouth-Prime from a mouth-Prime without opening the box, please let me know... I found a date code on the actual toy, but none on the box, and the one on the toy isn't visible unless you take it out of the box to look...

Unfortunately, there's no way to tell without opening the toy unless you take it out of the shipping case yourself. The ones in Kendallville were the updated no-mouth versions and the shipping case's date code was 33151.

I saw on the front page that it said there were no Energon Optimus Prime's with the mouthplate in the US - this is not true. We bought my nephew a E-Prime (with mouth on plate) for Christmas, so...obviously, its a mixed bunch.

If you read what he said, it's that there are some out there without the mouth plate. Look on the back of the box, near the bottom. There should be an embossed 5 digit number that is the date code. If it has a number greater than the one that Jon mentioned, it should have the full face plate.

Actually, E Prime is the only Wave 1 or 1.5 toy withOUT the date code on the box. It is actually on the toy itself, between the back set of wheels on the basic robot. There is no way to discern the two while still in package, which is unfortunate.

Afterwards I stopped off at the B-town Walmart and saw 2 Energon Unicrons, plus a couple other energon figures (place was pretty sparce, and well picked over). Odds are very very very low that you will find a G1 reissue Prime or Ultra Magnus at TRU. They were the least run of all of the Reissues because it was the first wave, and an experiment.

Round 2. I was all over Indy over the weekend (5 or 6 Walmarts, 5 or 6 Targets, 3 Meijer, 2 TRU, 3 K-Mart, ... just to find no Energon Magnus anywhere), here are some things of potential interest.

Noblesville Walmart (clearance section!): Armada Megatron on clearance for $13 (they had a dozen; the boxes are rough around the edges). Megatron/Cyclonus BTR sets are $17. Jetfire BTR is $4. They only had on Megatron Cyclonus set, so I'd assume those are gone now. They had a few Jetfire BTRs, though. Oh, and Landfill sets are selling for $12.

K-Mart on Pendleton Pike has numerous Armada figures (later releases like Wheeljack and Powerlinx Jetfire). They had a blue Emergency Team repaint (keyword: had. I had to pick that up, since that's only my second set to own and only the second blue Emer. Team repaint I've ever seen in person). They did have 2 of the Jetfire + Optimus 2-packs (and if that Corona Sparkplug being packed in some was a reality, these aren't those... just regular yellow Sparkplugs). They had very little Energon. I'm hoping they'll eventually catch up and be forced to put some E. Magnus on the shelf in the process...

Walmart at Keystone and Ruth Dr. (is that the road?) on the north side had several Scavengers and one P. Red Alert (+ Minicon team) for $11. They have a couple Armada Primes (Super) on clearance; I'm guessing those are about $20 since the other Armada figures are roughly 50% off. They also had 2 Armada Smokescreens. Oh, and, if you want an Armada Unicron in Energon packaging. They had a couple. [Note, the Armada figures are in the clearance section.]
