Displaying Uni. Prowl-Shoulder cannons or not?

How do you display Universe Prowl? In the G1 cartoon he didn't have his shoulder cannons cuz the animator left them off to differentiate him from Bluestreak (or vice versa)

I display mine without. But I will display Bluestreak with his.

Yeah, I leave my Prowl's shoulder cannons folded away too. It just doesn't look right with 'em, although it's nice that it does has 'em. I'm gonna display Silverstreak with them deployed for sure, though.

Mine has them every once in awhile. The shoulder cannons are painted on mine and they look good.

I have mine out because partly because I painted them, but mostly because he looks like he has a HUGE neck if there isn't something next to his head.

I keep mine folded away. Not only for cartoon accuracy, but so it looks different than Bluestreak when he comes out.

I keep mine folded away. Similarly, I leave them off my G1 Prowl when he's in robot mode, too.

Ha! I totally forgot Prowl didn't have the cannons in the cartoon. I'll have to keep them tucked back from now on, since I agree it would be a great way to distinguish him from Bluesilverstreak.

Don't have him yet (hopefully this weekend), but his shoulder cannons/launchers will be staying tucked away. Bluestreak's will be deployed. And I'm kinda tempted, if we get a Smokescreen, to trim his cannons/launchers down to match the cartoon a little better.

I don't have him, yet, but when I do get him, they'll be deployed. Same thing with Silverstreak, and hopefully the eventual repaint of Smokescreen.

My Universe Prowl gets sold the day after I get my chromed launcher Henkei Prowl.

And for the record, I am about as far away from a Takara fanboy as you can get, but those unpainted launchers look r-tarded.

Kept in, just seems more Prowl like to have em stored away, Streak and if done Screen will keep em deployed.

Seconded. I love the ability to vary my figures like that, especially when there's a precident to do so from the media.

I painted them, but leave them tucked away, simply because Prowl is rarely shown with shoulder launchers. They just don't look Prowl-y. Bluestreak will have them out, of course.

I'll leave the launchers undeployed. I think only Dreamwave ever gave Prowl launchers in major fiction.

The animators are only paid to do what they were directed to.

For some reason, my scanner is fussy at the moment, however, I can tell you which colors I used on the cannons. The what-be missiles are metallic silver and the actual launchers are metallic gun-metal gray so he looks very similar to the G1 figure. If I can get my scanner to work properly, I will post a picture of him.
