Optimus Prime is the only Transformers Might Mugg there. they have some G.I. Joe Mighty Muggs including Snakeyes, Cobra Commander and Storm Shadow.

Marvel Transformers
Silver with blue highlights Hulk tank. Black Spider-Man motorcycle. All others have been officialy seen

Transformers Animated

Bumper Battlers
New Bumper Battlers include a shiny silver Jazz similar to Movie Jazz, and Optimus Prime repaint that is vaguely similar to Sentinel Prime, A Bumblebee that was described as "electrical-looking".

Activators
Grimlock (described as awesome), Earth Mode Megatron and Patrol Bumblebee are all present.

General Animated Releases
Snarl is there in and out of package, Swoop is there out of package. Rollout Command Optimus Prime is for sale at Hasbro Booth. Nothing else new yet.

Sounds cool. When I saw the title of the thread, I wasn't actually expecting anything new. I don't really expect to see much of interest till Saturday during the panel. I was actually kinda hoping for an Activators Grimlock, it's awesome that they're actually making him. Can't wait to see pictures. The one hope I have for TF Mighty Muggs, is that they make a Grimlock one. Wouldn't really be that hard. The only addition they would need to make to the normal body shape would be his ears, and maybe his sword. His "wings" would be nice, but I'd be happy enough with just the ears and a nice paint job.

Earth mode activator Megatron is...ok. I'll get because I'm a megatron whore, but the Leader is obviously much better. Activator Grimlock looks pretty good, though. His thumbs look funny in dinosaur mode.

Both of the Titaniums look good. I wonder if they'll actually show up in stores next month.

Looks like a very simplified version of the voyager figure.

i got BB and amazingly the construction is really good, the plastic feels nice and overall a really cleanly produced solid little toy, they are a lot of fun. they are way more polished than universe delux for eg.

They're just the Universe line with the 25th Anniversary banner. Deluxes, Ultras, Voyagers, Legends, the whole shabang. Standard MSRP so far as I know.

The only one we know about so far is Optimus Pirme, and I think it's save to bet he'll be G1 based. Personally I think we should get a variety of different series homages, though a G1 Grimlock would be great, imo.

Edit: I don't see it happening, but if we somehow get more than one Optimus Prime Mighty Mugg, I hope that one of them is a RID Prime homage. Which is my favorite incarnation of him.

I see where you're coming from... myself, I'm a huge Beast Wars fan.

So I'm glad it's getting its due to some extent with the new Cheetor mold (and if we're lucky, Hasbro will give us a new Dinobot down the line!). Plus, we got those new Primal and Megatron molds in BWX, and the reissue line recently. And of course there's all those awesome Robot Heroes (Transmetal Megatron with the Golden Disk! Yesssss!), and of course Wasp and Blackarachnia in Animated, so I think it's clear Beast Wars is getting its due as well.

Though to be honest, BW had a lot of outstanding figures, whereas most of G1 was bricks - though I didn't grow up with G1, I love a lot of the character designs and am glad to see updates to guys like Ravage (please,please,please give us new Rumble and Frenzy molds Hasbro! please!) and Cyclonus.

Finally, I look at how well the Universe line seems to be moving at stores - I just went to my TRU and they were pretty much cleaned out of Universe deluxes. So people want the G1 homages evidently.

lol yea in my faves bw buzzsaw is the ONLY transformers that is in a higher ranking in my favorites list over ricochet....and it is just one notch and the only reason for that is the memories of my old bw buzzsaw.....*sniff* i miss him

Interesting that 25th Prime has the fat gun mold, just like the iPod releases did... I wonder if the normal gun mold is dead? I also wonder if all the accessories will be bloated (The fists clearly aren't)? I wish they'd include the new head in the 25th release from the iPod figs as well... I've got the white iPod Convoy, and that new head sculpt is pure love (and ball-jointed!!)

Grey/Silver Hulk looks pretty good, and could still, imo, make for a good WW Grimlock kitbash. Black Spidey looks cool too. Can't wait to see wait to see the pics of what Hasbro has planned for Saturday. The statues/busts look pretty good to, though they aren't my thing.

Mighty Mugg Optimus Prime looks pretty good. It's nice to see that we'll also be getting MM versions of Megatron, Bumblebee, and Soundwave. Hopefully they do more than those four, and at some point make a Grimlock. Would have been nice to see Prime get some addition to his head, like his hears, but as is he's still pretty good.

Okay, sorry to be blunt, but this is really bugging me.

Who is taking these pics? Do they seriously KNOW what's been seen and what hasn't? We see clear pics of the Marvel TF repaints (or at least one of their modes), but only edges of the actual NEW molds. And I can just barely see the Anakin Skywalker Ep II Jedi Starfighter remold, or some of the other SWTFs.

As far as what CAN be seen, the Bumblebee and Jazz Bumper Battler repaints sadly look like a total waste, they're barely changed at all. Nightwatch Prime looks worthy of a purchase, though.

oh dude I've had one griveous one for a while, now that I've found Darth Maul I think I'm done with my mighty muggs until transformers!...that is until Twee hooks it up with the gree mighty mugg from SDCC. Still opinions! The new activators are badass, I want Megs and Grimmy to add to Starscream, the Patrol bumblebee looks dumb as hell with white and yellow. The mighty muggs is freaking amazing! I'm totally gonna get them. The Star Wars transformers are looking good especially Griveous, and I'm digging the new packages, I thought it was just for the new Clone Wars toys. Anyway I'm really digging the Robot Heroes, but honestly they just never really have made me want to buy them, apart from shockwave and grimlock. Can't wait for Saturday!!!

Sting Racer Bee is a disappointment, its BARELY a repaint. Nice to finally see something else on that silver Jazz too, but I'll still probably pass on it. Nightwatch Prime looks very interesting though, might be the first BB I pick up.

I was thinking it'd be a variant more than a full-fledged re-release, sorta like TM2 Prowl's black version. But hey, I hope you're right. White's definitely the more show-accurate color. Though it is odd that they'd paint the sample in silver instead of white. This isn't like some minor change between the sample and the final product, like Elite Guard Bumblebee... plus, given how imminent his release is, they've got to have manufactured samples by now...

I've not see that Yellow Anakin Skywalker Episode 2 style Clone Starfighter before in yellow (that's new).

Heck I always thought he only ever had a blue and white one of that sort - I don't know where the Jedi "Swordfighter" type colored yellow springs from in fiction terms.

I like the new packaging - I hope they make a new Pale Darth Vader otherwise buying blue Obi-wan on his own is a bad buy.

I do wish they'd made the Black shuttle as a tie Pilot instead of the Emperor - but I guess that he has a lightsaber is a factor against that.

I have to admit to being very surprised there's no Vader's Aprentice Star Wars Transformer. and nothing new from the Sequels.

The mighty muggs hold no interest for me, especially at 10 dollars. I mean, how could you honestly want one of those over a perfectly decent deluxe TF? If I want non-transforming little statues, I'll get robot heroes. Still, I'm glad they're there for those who will want them.

SWTFs are a bit frustrating. The new stuff looks good - even though there's only TWO new molds shown. The new clone pilot one, I mean - he looks interesting, although his legs look gimpy. The Emperor's new repaint look very good - that's one of my favorite SWTF molds, and I may splurge to get this black version that does look much more like the emperor. I don't know why items like Blue Kenobi and Cody are getting rereleased, though. Maybe I could understand blue Kenobi since he wasn't on shelves long.

For SWTFs, I too register irriation at the partial-only photos of Torch and Wolverine. More generally, I'm disappointed that there aren't any other new molds shown - I'd like to see at least one new villain. I'm glad I went ahead and got green hulk, as the blue treads on the silver version don't look good. I was hoping that I'd want Symbiote Spiderman to compliment my Venom, but unfortunately even the nice repaint can't make the mold look good in my eyes.

Activators Grimlock looks awesome. The rest is pretty meh. The more I see Ultra Magnus the less I like it. I can't quite put my finger on what about it bugs me though. It has a great vehicle mode, it something about the robot mode. Oh well. I'll just wait until I see it in person to make the judgment call. Sentinal Prime does nothing for me other than the fact it turns into the Mr. Plow truck.

Edit: Just checked out the Crossovers. Still pretty terrible IMO. General Grevious looks pretty cool there, but thats what I thought about the first one, then bought it. Ugh.

That was more or less speculation because they didn't mention any more after that. This is a nice surprise. I can't wait to see more pics of the little Ravage that Soundblaster comes with. These Titanium Exclusives and the upcoming Unicron reissue are finally giving me reasons to actually go to TRU. Hopefully I can find what I want when I do go.

It's quite awesome how the kibble blades look badass instead of weird, and it looks alot like the vehicle mode cannon can detach and attach to his arm, it's even too small for the cockpit but the right size for the arm.

No, there have actually been several of the Animated toys that have the "correct" insignia colors, though most of the main line (Deluxes, Voyagers, & Leaders) have the silver and gold colored one's, along with a good amount of the rest of the line's size classes.

Way back right before Botcon 07 when they announced the cancellation of the six inchers line Entertainment Earth had a preorder for the next wave, which included Soundblaster w/ Ravage, Primal Prime, and Grimlock. That left the only two six inchers not already on the checklist that's packed in being Skywarp and Prowl.
The question is, why would Prowl then have a cross sale for Primal Prime if they didn't ship together? All of the other Titaniums always advertised their new releases (WWI Megs/G1 UM, BM Cheetor/Fallen, RID Prime/WWI Starscream, etc.).
I know they would probably want to remove Skywarp as Prowl's cross sale, but that still doesn't explain why they would put Primal Prime or Soundblaster in instead.
Then again, I'm just hopeful we'll get them, if not just for Primal Prime, dude needs more lovin'.

Knowing Hasbro and TRU, if we weren't , they'd more than likely either not put them on the packaging (as far as I know packaging for these two wasn't designed clear back then), or come up with some sort of sticker to put over that spot on the packaging (probably a weird shaped "Only at TRU" sticker of some sort). While it's only a couple of days away, it's still going to be a looooong wait till Saturday, and the site is going to get hammered when the thread and pictures get put up.

I'd love that Shockwave design in all-plastic. It's not perfect, but it's better than nothing. Arcee, I'd have to see the final product to decide wither I would buy her or not. Who knows, the Animated one might end up looking better. I was looking at the Allsparks pictures of the Human Torch, and an interesting kitbash idea came to me. Give him a new head, make a backpack for him, possibly remold some of the flames on him, put an Autobot Logo over the 4, and repaint him into Skyfire. He could also work well for a Sunstorm repaint, or even a jet version of the Fallen (both could keep the flames and still work).

Yep, along with Wheelie and Warpath. From what we know from past experiences, and things Hasbro has said, the Legends class figures have absolutely no bearing on any larger figures. Basically, we could still get larger versions of all the characters that are getting legends. Hound and Onslaught are good examples of this.

Well, changes shouldn't be needed because it was stated at that Botcon that those four or five figures from that final wave of Titaniums never got past the prototype stage and no mold was ever made for them. So, all that would really be needed are some regular molds (and probably some minor tweeks given that they were going to be in the crappiest of all Transformers lines) and they should be good to go. This is, of course, assuming that they have any interest in doing these characters in this fashion. From what's been said at this year's Botcon they really only have an interest in getting Cosmos out there and that's because he was originally slated for Classics but marketing didn't think a giant green saucer would sell, got bumped to Titaniums but than the line got cancelled and now they're trying to get it into Universe because fan reaction to the overall design was rather positive.

They probably have the most luck getting it done during the upcoming 25th Anniversary portion of Universe as they were even able to sneak Cheetor in according to them.

The highlight is obviously Activators Grimlock. A-MAY-ZING! Megs looks nice too.

On the Marvel TF front, both The Human Torch and Wolverine look fantastic. Also, as expected I like Spider-man's repaint in black better than the red and blue version. The same cannot be said about Hulk ... I'll probably get both. :p

On SWTF, I love the new Grievous. Hopefully the end product is a lot better than the first wheel bike one, 'cause that looked good on pics but in reality wasn't. Sad to see the new Anakin is a redeco of the Episode 2 mold ... probably won't pass on it though.

The new Clone Pilot (I guess it transforms into a V-19 Fighter from the new movie) looks great (except the legs). Sad to see there aren't pics of the TIE Bomber.

Not too into the whole vinyl trend going on right now, so I'm passing on the Mighty Mugs.

And man ... I want all three Titaniums so bad! Hopefully I have a chance at 'em.

EDIT: forgot to say something about the new Emperor. It's a repaint and all that, but the black suits the robot mode better, and I can't wait to see the shuttle mode in black.

It looks as though it's still the old painted sample. I think we've actually seen pictures of him with clear blue-tinted windows. I'll see if I can find them.

Wow, how did I miss that? That looks horrible. Lets hope that's not final colors...

Edit: Oops, ha ha, go me for not refreshing before posting. Looks very nice with the translucent blue windows.

You're right but the irony here is that the original Human Torch from Timely Comics was an android.

No. They are going for mass release. But prime is the only one we've seen.
edit: ah. if you look at the pics from the side of the box. prime has a cross promotion with mighty mugs bumblebee, megatron, and soundwave.

anyone mind identifying these cybertron 6 inch titaniums? or something.
I don't get what these are.

universe repaints= cool. nice to have. But november for the target two packs. ouch.
animated mainline=sharp. addictive. can't make out ultra magnus's release date.
Classics= I did'nt wait all year to not buy every single one of them.
titaniums= really don't have enough of these. die hard metal.
universe robot heroes= the g1 ones I will buy.

animated activators= FABattlers disguised in the humble scout class. won't be buying these.

It's officially Blockrock. Someone could have came up with the card only going off of memory, and might have been a little rushed to get all of them done. Poor Sentinel Prime even has a hand written one.

Actually, there's a really good chance he will have the blue roller. Some pictures we got not too long ago of what we're actually getting showed a blue roller. I think the one they're displaying out side the box, and used for the back of box pictures is just an old G1 Prime they've been keeping in storage, or soemthing like that. The one they're going to be selling has some differences to it. Other than short stacks, it has brighter colors, and like I said, appears to have the blue colored roller. Personally I would have preferred the silver roller, but that wouldn't be hard to fix.

I won't be surprised if we get to see a lot of new stuff tomorrow right after the panel. We should not only get pics from the panel, but Hasbro always puts out stuff in their display cases afterwords. I'm not sure what all we'll see, but I'm expected to see Hound, Cyclonus, Ravage, Nightstick, from the 25th Ann. line, and Wreckgar, Jetfire, Jetstorm, from the Animated line. TFW is going to get hammered tomorrow, though I have faith that the site will, for the most part, remain functional, as it has during past conventions.

There will be a Hasbro panel and presentation tomorrow afternoon, and we will have coverage and hopefully a lot more photos!

The part that's of particular interest to us is this little blurb:

Transformers Crossovers has been successful and will continue through the year.

Captain America will transform into a Humvee.

Carnage will transform itno a sleek red muscle car.

War Machine and Thor are also coming as Transformers.

Sounds like a lot of possible repaints coming up if you ask me, but than it could just be like the differences between Torch & Ironman... though I'd speculate that War Machine will probably be just a repaint. Still, good news for those of us that like this line. :)

Edit: If you scroll down there are some pics of the upcoming Marvel TFs too... hurray for actually reading the entire post! :lol

Yeah, based on the pics Carnage is a repaint and so is War Machine. Thor is a new mold (looks friggin awesome in robot mode) and turns into a psychedelic A10... no pics of Cap though.

Carnage- Looks pretty cool. I was expecting Venom to get at least one repaint.

War Machine- Looks pretty cool too. Was also expecting this. Like the others, would make for easy kitbash fodder into a TF character.

Captain America- Sounds like he should be cool. Unfortunetly no pictures, yet. It'll be interesting to see his sheild.

Thor- Little surprising, but he looks awesome. He turns into my favorite plane. I might get him to turn into Powerglide, though there are actually a couple other uses I could see come from this mold.

All in all, I'm happy with the direction the Marvel TF's are going. They've turned out to be a much better line than the Star Wars TF's, imo.

Edit: Here's hoping that they put them out in the display cases at some point. Not sure what the chance will be that they will, but it would be nice to get some more pictures of that Thor figure.
