Not sure if he hasn't been paying his bills, but the site is down.
The only way I'm able to access anything is through the wayback machine internet archive: Welcome to www.tfu.info - TFU.INFO Magazine Issue #11 - www.tfu.info (http://web.archive.org/web/20051220192159/www.tfu.info/index.htm)
The archived versions are not up to date, and doesn't have any of the new movie stuff. I hope someone has most of this backed up someplace just in case the site is down for the count.

Damn. I hope it's not permanent...or for very long. I use that site a lot.

He just started doing a massive update, didn't he? Seems like he wouldn't not pay if he was trying to get back into it.
But I'm pretty sure some of the staff here knows him. If he decides to get outta the web stuff, I would love it if TFW absorbs him.

I couldn't imagine us "absorbing" him or his site since we have our own resources section to tend to.

This couldn't have waited for another week or two when my replacement would've been live?

That just gave me a really creepy mental image :p
I'm hoping this is just a minor snafu and that it'll be back soon. I never did take the time to look through his last big update.

Wow, now it seems the llink that my cousin, Moroni Prime, posted doesn't work anymore either. I used it a couple times yesterday, and now nothing. Arrgghh!
Anyone got an update to Anthony's status with the site??

I'm wondering if maybe someone was downloading a bunch of the images from the site and used up its bandwidth allotment for the month. I've seen that happen at sites before. If that's the case, it should be back up around the start of August.

I just can't believe we technically have 50% of the same obscure character in our avatars!

Bummer. I loved their minimalistic approach; it was so well organized and easy to navigate with minimal clicking.
I hope it's back up soon.

Tfu.info pays for X amount of bandwidth a month. Many times throughout the years I've seen it not be available at the end of the month. I mean, something else *could* be up, but I'm fairly confident it's just another case of the bandwidth getting used up early.
For those who need it - as much as I love tfu.info, for American G1 stuff, I'd recommend transformerland.com instead. There are several errors on tfu.info, unfortunately (and it's cost me money at those times, either buying or selling wrong parts). For anything other than American G1, then yeah, definitely go to tfu.info.

that's a good theory that xZaox has, but it makes me wonder...
IF the site is down due to lack of bandwidth, what happens when it comes back up and everyone starts to use it again? Afterall, he just did an update and I would imagine with the number of tfans out there that use it as a resource like I do, that the won't last long once it's up again. I wonder if this is the case, if he would pay for more bandwidth/memory and help the server from crashing.
I still think it could be due to the "help" he got with friends...perhaps a patch of sorts after the update screwed up the site. Wish we could get ahold of Anthony to find out. This is a HUGE bummer.
I've been using Transformerland.com for a while now, even when tfu.info was up, and its not bad, but has a LOT of holes. I've tried using tfw2k5 as a resource, but there's even more holes in its database, especially when it comes to parts pics(I'll be glad to help with that when I'm done). I'm currently packing away all my pre-animated tf's(I moved and don't have the display room I once had), and its been a real difficult time sorting thru everything. Well, I guess I shoulda kept the parts with the bots as I got them, but when your a kid, you don't worry about stuff like that. I must have over a dozen missiles that I have NO idea who they belong too...even after using all the reference sites like here, tfland, seibertron, and allspark. There's another site I used to use, bwtf.com, but its been down for ever. I hope something good comes of al lthis and we don't lose the best reference source for tf's on the net forever.
