would the activators bumblebee head fit on the deluxe body? it seems that the deluxe's head is what throws people off about the scale.

You should be asking yourself if the classics BB head will fit on the activators BB body. That might be a better classics BB in terms of scale.

No, it won't. Deluxe BB's head is in scale, it's him that's out of scale. (as a smaller character, he's supposed to have a larger-ish head to make him seem younger, and while this works, compare him to other figs and it just makes his head look big)

Activator's head would be freakishly small.

wow. is the activator really that small in comparison?Quite, but the activator's head is already shrunk to fit better in transformation, so it would look really, really goofy.
