i got a question when it comes tot he 80's animated movie

how would it have gone over at the time if the movie had covered a viewing scene and a space burial scene?

say with the viewing scene being modeled on the viewing scene from the justice league episode hereafter and the space burial scene being modeled after that scene from starship troopers for example

in some small way i actually think it would have been a worthwhile change to the movie if only because the viewing scene/burial scene would have made it thoroughly clear as to who all died on the autobot side of the war during the great battle of autobot city while on the other hand the scene could have also served as an opportunity to explore in some part just how similer the transformers are to we humans in that regard

Try bringing back Optimus Prime after those scenes. Glad Hasbro didn't go that way.

They did still show a tomb for all the Autobots that died in the movie. We might not have seen him loaded in it, but we all expected to see him dead in there.
