Who do you think would win?
The Galactic Empire... the dominating force of the SW universe has millions of Storm Troopers, as well as thousands of fighters, cruisers, and battleships.
But they could all be destroyed by....

XD
But personally, who do YOU think would win in a war?

passed a copy of that on to friends a while back. i still like it, though.
What i want to see most, is....
the imperial officer says, "this battle station is the ultimate power in the universe...we should use it," as unicron approaches. He then yells at vader, "i have summoned you here for a purpose," and vader tries to force choke him. "i find your lack of faith disturbing." comedy gold...

TF's, to much power. On both sides.

Except the Death Star can blow up a planet with a single shot, and Star Destroyers can inflict quite a punch. How could the TF soldiers/armadas counter that?

By being huge f*cking robots!
Think: huge robots against miniscule fleshlings. No contest.
I love Star Wars, but no contest here. Transformers would wipe them out. Transformers are far too agile and trained in combat to be sitting ducks for any high powered artillery. I bet Galvatron alone could wipe out an Imperial fleet.

I also love Star Wars but it is really no competition. Transformers would wipe them out Unicron or no Unicron. The Death Star wouldn't really even be able to do anything since the Transformers are so mobile and it isn't. Again Star Wars is cool but not a chance against a Decepticon Armada.

Physical capability aside, I'd still say the TFs would prevail over the Empire because outside of Palpatine and Vader, the Empire tended to be made up of either uniformed nitwits who only got promoted when their superior officers were Force-choked to death for making navigational errors, or Stormtroopers who 99% of the time couldn't hit a moving target three feet in front of them.

Let's hope we're not counting the G1 cartoon series version of TFs then or it's going to be years of shots from both armies always missing each other. :p
The big question in all this though is how would Unicron fare against the Force?

Yeh, i think the huge transforming robots would probably win. But Boba Fett rocks hard, so you could count on him to kick some serious metal arse - both Autobot & Decepticon, i expect :)

I'll admit I'm not the biggest SW fan, so I don't know all the stories, but the most I've seen the Force do is shoot some electricity and Shrapnel can do that.

Who cares? No matter who loses, Chuck Norris will kick the winner's arse.

Think of it this way.
A Star Destroyer is *insert size here*
The Transformers also have dedicated warships.
Any tf equivalent to a SD is gona be huge whem compared tho them.

I am going to rock the boat and say Star Wars.
1. The Empire is massive and has limitless resources with millions of soldiers,
There are a limited amount of transformers and according to G1 they are currently going through an energon shortage.
2. Jedi (light and dark) with light sabres trained to kill. Not sure the metal that transfomers are made of, but it would be short work for a lightsaber.
3. Droids- With the combined forces of droids and humans the transformers would put up a good fight, but would eventually worn down by the constant barrage of dispensable soldiers and droids. Plus given the decepticon track record, they would likely have a trader (Starscream or Octane) who’d sell out the Transformers for a few credits.

Hmm. How did the Rebellion counter that? :p
I must admit, I do find this sort of "universe vs universe" fantasy fights kind of weird - How do you take into account everything in each universe? character vs character or organisation vs organisation I'm fine with, because you can quantify them to some extent, but these fellas are just too vague...

Transformers.
Why?
"You will feel the dark side of the force!"
"Oh yeah? Well- Hey, what the frag did I just step in?!"
Even Wheelie could've won that. Wheelie.

The Death Star against Unicron.
As always Yackity Sax would be played over that; and it would win.

How about Transformers vs. Star Wars vs. Star Trek? Who you'd think would win out of that? ;)

With the exception of Bayformers, most Transformers are nearly indestructable to anything outside of Cybertronian weapons. Hugh city-style MAX Transformers could take on the Star Destroyers with no effort, and if the SWs Troops didn't get stepped on, the Beasts could mop up what's left. Transformers are also by nature, very adaptable. Being living entities, it wouldn't take them long to learn the Force or even use Light Saber technology. Also, TFs scanning the Empire would even take on the forms of their enemies. Real Star Wars Transformers! The fight wouldn't last long. Darth Vader getting into what he thinks is his Tie Fighter. Yeeesh! BTW, I don't think the Star Trek universe would be too much of a threat either.

Honestly, is there a diffrence between a light saber and Transformer blade weapons, like Grimlock's Energo-sword (or whatever it's called).

basicly the force could destroy any transformer. so really its kind of a fair fight if the empire and the rebelon are working together....

Yes, there's a huge, Lucas-lawsuit-dodging difference.

The biggest of those differences being that lightsabre blades are actually made of energy; energon weapons tend to have physical blades augmented by an energon-powered forcefield.
Transformers are also by nature, very adaptable. Being living entities, it wouldn't take them long to learn the Force or even use Light Saber technology.
Lightsabre tech, yes (Megatron already used a lightsabre in the '86 movie). But actually using the Force - would that even be physically possible? As I recall, the Force tends to destroy any machinery if channelled through it, which is why Darth Vader, with his bionic arms, can't use the force lightning power. Or is it literally just force lightning that wrecks machinery?

Like he's got any right to sue over conceptual theft.
A more appropriate question would be,
Who would win in a fight, tard wars versus Dune?
Or
The empire from tard wars versus The Doctor? (from Doctor Who)
No challenge there. The Doctor would win. Obviously.

I suppose the Transformers can't use the Matrix if the Jedi use the Force to stop it from opening.
It'd be like having a huge battle tank but not being able to use it because your enemy has the keys to the tank garage. :p

Transformers, for all the reasons stated earlier. Can't really do anymore explaining beside that.
