EDIT: Talked the guys in the unit into kicking in some money, so it's now a PAYING JOB.
And it's still to help America!
I'm headed to Afghanistan next year (spring/summerish, BotCon better not be compromised or I'm gonna find Bin Laden myself).
Some of the guys in my unit wanted to come up with a name and a logo for us. Now, I swear I didn't even suggest this. They came up with it all on their own. But I admit to loving it.
They want to be the Medicbots, and have a Transformer as our 'mascot.' He would be an Autobot and his alt-mode would be a M997 Field Litter Ambulance
Pics for reference. (http://www.airfieldmodels.com/information_source/references_for_model_builders/m997_field_litter_ambulance_fla/index.htm)
Mostly, though, what the guys are hoping for was a robot mode that was one color so it could be printed on a t-shirt in just black and still be fairly distinct. I don't know art terms, but basically something that was...I guess "broken up." I mean an image that was all black, but instead of being a solid silhouette, it's several black shapes that make up the entire image. But the breaks between between the images provide detail...does that make sense?
Their original plan was to try and contact Hasbro, but I SERIOUSLY doubt that would go anywhere. 'Sides, we have some kickass talent here.
So now money and you'll be immortalized forever. How 'bout it?
i might be interested in at least givin this a crack

Yeah, it's a freebie request. BUT! It's to help America!

Not needed for at least six months if not longer, so no rush.
Thanks for any help offered!

This sounds like a really cool concept. I'm really curious to see how this turns out.

Just a bump.
Would this be more likely to happen if I paid? And how much is the going rate for something like this?

do you have a pose or idea in mind aside from the broken silhouette look?

you should decide either way. you cant make a commission thread if you aren't offering money. that's like advertising on a jobs site and then in the small print saying you wont get paid. commission by definition means paying someone to do some work for you!
having said that though, josh is very talented and drastically undercharges for his work too, so he might be a good bet

Not really, no. Just kinda one of those old G1 box art lookin' images, I suppose. I'm really NOT artistic.

i dont care if there is no money involved
i will still make oen for another board member for free
although if money is involved, it will help with the quality but will take longer to make XD
