Blitzwing and Starscream. TFA pieces. (ongoing)

Hey all. :) I've been on an Animated hype for a while now and have spent some of my time making some TFA pics. Instead of making multiple threads for each I'd just split them into two threads: one for my fan characters, one for official character based peices.

So, without further delay...

Argh, for some reason teh transition from flash file to Gif erases and discolours certain parts. I'll have to revise but for now, enjoy what I've got up. :D Comments and crits are always welcome.

I am particularily proud of this one. I couldn't think of a good pose for him so I made him with his arms out as he rallies the automatons of Detroit. I actually made his red outlines to emulate the "just reborn" shot where he merges with his fellows, it also helped seperate him from the background.

the only thing id say i dont care for are the blue highlights on starscream's grey parts. looks kinda funkyYeah, I have no idea what happened. It's supposed to be lighter shade of the grey. (which is supposed to have a blue tint to it) But for some reason it makes it... blue. Blitzwing I managed to fix, but SS will take some fiddling.

But by stylizing it, you lost a lot of detail. More-so on Blitzwing than Starscream.

I purposely omitted certain "unnessesaries" because if I didn't, I'd just be replicating the characters models, and there's no fun in that. (actually, comparing Blitzwing to his character model, I really didn't exclude that many details minus the little purple lines on the black strips across his chest) Most of his arm is just blocked by the perspective of the fist. EDIT: Ack! I forgot the little round things on his heels. I'll have to add those later.

The only omisions I did not like to do were... not doing the faction symbols. I'm not quite good enough at doing those yet. :( (Though when I do, all three will be updated :))

The red lines on Soundwave don't look right for some reason, they just don't really fit. maybe another color?? but I love the piece besides that.:thumbs2: It just looks a little off.

I really like your interpretation of Blitzwing. But I agree that Starscream's legs are a bit on the extreme side. I won't say anything about the coloring since you said that got messed up... But otherwise, very nice! Can't wait to see more. :D

Thanks. Starscream was really just me going crazy. Since I've don him begfore, I wanted to do somethign different.
