So, on another board I got this comment today:

I was looking through the new Previews last night and saw something about the new animated series. The Deceptacons have claws. Apparently just to make it clear they're the bad guys. Airplanes with claws.

Has anyone seen what she is talking about?

Lockdown also has a hook and a chainsaw though.

Unless they meant claws as in sharp nails. Because a few decepticons do have pointy fingers.

Star Scream has claw like fingers. which for him is honestly just cool but him and lugnut are the only ones.

Are you sure she isnt talking about the movie cause the movie was a little rediculous with this were all decepticons had claws and autobots didnt.

actually forgot about Black Arachnia but does it really count she is a spider and that just makes sense

As for Animated, can't remember for Blitzwing and Megatron. *Checked - they don't have claws or sharp 'nails' either.

No these were drawings in Previews magazine.Well, they were either really early art or she wasn't looking clearly enough. There's only four 'Cons with claws thus far: Starscream (sharp claw nails) Lugnut (big, blunt pincers) BA (claws) and Shockwave. (evil slice-dice fingers)

And Shockwave and BA aren't airplanes. And even then tha still leaves The Constructicons, Megatron and Blitzwing as the clawless dudes.

Besides, they wouldn't have claws in vehicle mode anyway.
