alt mode is nice looking and the colors are nice. The only strange issue is the hollow part right under the turret similar to movie brawl

for a repaint he is a nice figure if you dont have the original(like me):D

i give him a solid 7 out of 10

When you unlock the cannons on his arms, you're supposed to slide the right one forward. The left cannon also has the launcher parts extend a bit.

This way, the handles on the flip-out guns end up in his hands.

when i took the pic his arms were bent. The only way they are flush is when his arms are straight. Also his missiles were not out all the way:D

Love this mold, and the old micromaster character. :) I can't wait to get my hands on this guy, and the rest of this series.

Nice repaint but the original Dropshot is blue or something.

He looks like a good figure. I don't know why I never bought him originally.

I just checked, yes it was. It was also an armoured car simlar to CDF Hot Shot.

Wow the classics are going to release that early?

I missed on that mold the first time, but the colors are just too boring here. Might pass on him too.

I know he's a Decepticon and all, but every time I look at the coloring on this guy I can't help but think of the Micromaster Battle Patrol. And I like the lemony yellow, even if it is a bit out of place on a military vehicle.

I'll definitely get this figure, though... I never got the Scattorshot mold originally, but since then I've seen so many folks rhapsodize about how great it is.

He looks and sounds great, and since I missed this mold first time round I might have to pick this up.

I don't mean for this to sound rude at all, but I think it's funny when newer collectors who have only seen movie or animated toys have a hint of surprise when they find out that even some of the older toys out there are good.

(Not that CD Scattorshot is all that old...)

How can anybody say the colors look nice or good on this??? It's a missile launcher not a sports car, it should be in camo or dark colors, not bright yellow to stand out. This is one of my favorite molds from Cybertron but I won't touch this ugly thing.

Have to say that I love this mold. CD Scattorshot was one of the best Voyager Class figures in Cybertron (made second only by Evac IMPO) and this looks like an excellent repaint. Not to mention, they made him a Decepticon and a nice double G1 Micromaster homage. :D I'll definently be picking him up when he hits retail.

Oh, Tamo, if you pull the launcher on the right arm forward (it's slides at the point where it connects to the arm) you can make that launcher flush with his hand (for the handle part) while his elbo is bent. It's the way I pose my CD Scattorshot. The other one is only flush when his arm is straight though... they should have done something similar with that arm too, but it's a minor gripe on an awesome figure.

brawl's hole was movie accurate, that was the cockpit, go back and watch the movie really closely

Eh, love the mold, but that's one assy color scheme. Lime yellow, brown, and green just do not go well together.

The one on his left arm is more like a heavy launcher, so it looks fine to have it resting on his shoulder-like.

Yeah but it is more of a lite-yellow/tan for a Desert theme missile launcher platform.

I gave CD Scattorshot a miss during Cybertron, but this new color scheme is more plausible than that blue. I like it and will pick it up.

It's odd, but the same thing goes for the Mudflap. The change from blue to yellow took it from disinterest to totally wanting it. It's odd how a paint scheme can do that, since most of the time I'm more concentrated on the merits of the mold itself.

Are the Decepticon insignia just painted, or are they molded on as well? I'd like to slap some Reprolabels Autobot stickers over them and use him as Classics Flak.

Awesome sauce. Classics Flak ahoy! Wonder who to use for the rest of the Battle Patrol?

The green looks a little out of place.

Good looking toy but I cant get excited about him because he in the classics line but isn't a classic character. Color and mode are wrong for dropshot so its hardly an homage. He works as autobot flak but if you have to rename them and change faction symbols whats the point?

Was originally going to pass on this guy because bots with tons of junk on their arms bug me, but I decided to bring one home and see if an operation was possible. Two minutes and a few screws later, he was free of those massive arm launchers and his bot mode looked much more appealing to me. Alt mode is obviously barren looking without those, but when I have a little more time I'm going to see what I can do to mod it so the missile pods can be reattached and then removed for bot mode, maybe relocated or something.

Great figure, and the colors look way, way better in person than they do in photos.

Got this today, great mold, definitely one of the best from Cybertron no question. Color scheme I have to agree wile the light greenish/yellowish paint they used is questionable and really should have stuck to darker colors it's still not bad. I see were they tried to take this with the swap cameo look but they really should have darkened it or at the least mixed in some dark green spots to give it more of a camo look. Overall I would probably say if you have this mold already maybe to give this toy a miss as the Cybertron/GF version is good enough, but for those who really love the mold and those who dont have it I would say its worth it for sure.

Always meant to pick up CD Scattorshot, but for whatever reason, never got around to it. Along with Nemesis and Acid Storm, this is the third time Universe gave me a chance to nab a mold I missed,

Alt mode is nice; the turret can point almost straight up and rotates 360 degrees. I like how the head and arms "collapse" onto a rotating disk embedded in his back to enable this range of motion. It's a neat little piece of engineering. The two faults I can find with this mode are the "gap" underneath the turret and the fact that raising said turret reveals an upside-down robot head.

I was rather disappointed in how simple his transformation is. He's not quite Universe Silverbolt, but he's close. Maybe 6 or so steps from start to finish. The bot mode you end up with is well-done though. He's rock-solid with big, meaty, ratchety joints. For his size, he feels much more substantial than many of the new molds we've been getting lately. He's got a good range of motion; his launchers do have some weight that you need to pay attention to when posing him, but he ends up being pretty well balanced.

Having two different weapons deploy out of his missile barrels is a nice touch. Not a fan of the cyber key though. I'd much rather activate features via a button on the figure instead of being dependent on a small and easily lost tool. My particular figure has an issue where the missile launcher on his left arm won't deploy when the missiles are inserted beforehand; they stick out enough to cause friction and have to be opened by hand.

Compared to the questionable paint QC other Universe entires have suffered through, Dropshop's apps are quality work. I especially like the metallic color they did for the piping on his torso. The weird, sickly lemon color they used isn't growing on me though. Sadly, it's more noticeable in person than in pics. I'm not sure what they were going for exactly, but replacing it with a more sandy-colored tan might be a worthwhile undertaking...

Overall, a worthwhile figure. Not really a must-have, but definitely one you can feel confident picking up if the urge strikes you.
