View Full Version : I'm bored - let's create a Fan Fic with Fan Characters!
Kickback
05-25-2008, 02:02 AM
So, looking through some *REALLY* old stuff, I found the first real FanFic I ever did back in ... 2001? I was part of an online RPG forum (somehow connected to TransFans.net) and I decided to write a FanFic of our RPG characters while we RP'd our little hearts out.
In time, the FanFic became more popular than the RPG, but the game died out and thus I was unable to finish the fic, or exactly whatever I was doing with it. But that being said, I loved having the creative freedom to turn characters in to whatever I wanted, giving them unique personalities, and their own little histories.
So.
I'm going to write a FanFic. I'm going to set it in whatever continuity we decide to set it in (G1 cartoon/G1 Marvel comic, BW/BM, RID, Arm/Ene/Cyb, Animated), and I will take your characters with the descriptions you give them and create a fanfic.
Unless no one wants to do this, in which case we'll just forget it. But it could create some fun in this forum again, which seems to always be lacking somewhat (writing allows the reader to create the Fan Art in their head ... I wish more people saw writing as that).
So who is on board? And what continuity should I set this in? I'm leaning against Beast Wars/Beast Machines, just because it is so flushed out enough as it is. G1 Marvel is tough, and I don't follow IDW's stuff enough to care to try to fit it in there. So my preferences would be G1 cartoon, RID, the Arm/Ene/Cyb universe, or even Animated.
Discuss! I'm leaning towards G1 cartoon/Animated myself :)

I vouche for G1 or Animated. Some people had better get on this boat, as it is an awesome idea.
What sort of plans do you have for the continuity?

I dig it. I also go for animated, but G1 is good as well.
edit: Me gots a character.
Domino
Faction:Autobots
Alt Mode:Cybertronian Stealth Car
Catch Phrase:Stealth is deadlier than any weapon
Personality: Domino was created for one thing: Total destruction. He was trained by the decepticons strongest Martial Artist to learn the ways of the ninja. But on one fateful day, his destiny was turned around. Now he is one of the greatest Martial Artists, for the Autobots. He was meant for killing, now he is meant for saving.
EDIT:Just saying, I changed his alt mode.

The movie continuity could be great, like the beginning of Megatron's obsession with the allspark.
Caine
05-26-2008, 01:58 PM
Brilliant idea. I'm in.
I'm for Animated.
Caine or Bloodhound ;)
Faction :: Decepticons
Optional Sub-Faction :: Decepticon Secret Police
Type :: Triple Changer
Alt Modes ::
#1 Cybertronian Assault Helicopter heavily resembling Russian Mil Mi-24 Hind, but of course bigger and quite armed, for air-to-air or (mainly) air recon missions.
#2 Cybertronian Quadrupedal Walker Tank with Fusion Cannon
Resembling mechanical scorpion with dual machine guns in front to replace its 'pincers', four legs and cannon/sting for ground assaults. (pretty much like Scrapmetal mold from AEC)
Weapons on Robot Mode :: Dual Barreled Fusion Rifle & Rotor blades (like movie Blackout).
Short Biography ::
A Version :: Drop-dead Megatron's loyalist, Bloodhound's sole purpose is clearing paths for the advancement of the Decepticons cause, even if it would mean the sacrifice of his very own Spark and existence, Bloodhound will surely do it.
B Version :: "The Decepticon Secret Police", among those chosen fews within Decepticons' ranks, one of the most feared are Bloodhound. His rampant and insatiable appetite for destruction are without doubt. Tragically, he was once a promising Autobot Elite Guard recruit named Foxhowl, but during a fatal encounter with Decepticons forces, he was the most badly damaged bot, cease to surrender and cowering in fear like his fellow recruits, barely functioning at the end of battle, and to make things worse, he was abandoned by his friends, the ones that he sacrificed himself for. When he was taken by Decepticons to Kaon to be detained as Prisoners of War, Megatron himself saw a bright prospect within his Spark, and he decided not to remove his Spark. Instead, under Megatron's order, he was being repaired and treated nicely by the captives. And further agitated by Megatron about how careless and corrupted the Autobots are, given the fact that they abandoned him like cowards, yet, he himself keep struggling till the last drop of Energon against the advancing Cons, Bloodhound finally decided to pledge his allegiance to Megatron & the Decepticons. Within Decepticons ranks, he never cease to amaze his superior officers, thus finally earning him the righteous spot among the elite Decepticon Secret Police. Thus, further allowing his exact plans for revenge against the corrupted Autobots.

Why not use the Transtech universe as a backdrop?
Here's my suggestion... we begin some time after the events of the club comics, to avoid any continuity problems.
Though it remained devoid of a conflict for aeons, Cybertron finally falls into a state of war, between the Axions (guardians of Axiom Nexus, gateway to other worlds, and agents of peace) and the Primacons (a faction convinced that Cybertron should not just be a hub of interstellar peace and travel, but the center of a cross-dimensional empire. Each faction is made up of Maximals, Autobots, Predacons, and Decepticons distributed along somewhat fractured lines (there may be 'cons in the Axion faction, and 'bots in the Primacon faction). The recruits from other realms however are critical to the war effort, and whoever controls the gateways controls the fate of the war, as the Transtechs lack experience with war.
I don't know who would lead the Axions, but it could very well be that the balance that tipped the scales into war was a very charismatic aberration from another reality, who recruited the Primacons in the name of rule and conquest over other worlds... in this universe, he has been known as Joe.
The advantage of Transtech though is that it lets people bring in characters from multiple universes, from G1 to Marvel UK to Beast Wars to Animated.

G1 or Beast Wars would be preferable.....I have no developed fan characters from anything else......though i am re-adapting one for animated.

Transtech Universe is a good idea. That way we can have all the fan characters together when needed.
My character is brief:
His name Chuckles. He is an evil Decepticon.
He is about 22 feet tall, medium build with a chin that talks to him and only him. He is not powerful, but can lift things. He turns into a ROFLcopter similar to BM Obsidian with a rounded cockpit resembling a happy face. His primary weapons are "LOL" warheads and laughing gas. He can also use his baldes as cutters, short swords and buzzsaws but often prefers hand-to-hand combat. He is very funny if not all that competant but much moreso than his peers. He only speaks when he either has something important or funny to say. (usually the two get mised together, so he doesn't talk a whole lot) he loves action, and is quite content with just chasing down Autobots in helicopter mode or beating them with his fists. He is a fast flyer, but a slow runner. Often forgets which form he's in if he get preoccupied. Earth comedy is his favourite, even if he doesn't always know what they're talking about. He can't jump very high and has poor agility, but is untouchable in Copter mode.
Also, if you need my help writing peices, I could chip in in that department.:)

Transtech Universe is a good idea. That way we can have all the fan characters together when needed.
That was my idea.
As for a fan character, I've got a couple that could work - they currently need detailed bios though, as I could probably come up with complex backstories easily.
Gaveltron - Decepticon Executor of Justice
Altmode: Giant, floating judge's gavel with a thing to hammer on
"I never shall yield, till we come face to face."
Quickie bio: Committed to the notion of justice above all else, Gaveltron is the tool in the Decepticon arsenal used to best mete out punishment on traitors and deserters. Persistent - will go to the ends of the known universe to hunt down a criminal and try and execute him on the spot. Has a cruel streak in his application of justice, which is why he is a Decepticon in the first place - they let him carry out whatever punishment he deems fits the crime, no matter how heineous. Transforms into a giant floating gavel capable of interstellar flight. In robot mode, wields a long staff and heavily durable shield. Gaveltron's strength is also his weakness, however- he is known for pursuing his quarry for decades and even centuries with religious zeal in the name of justice.
Tyrannekarde - Decepticon Air Warrior
Altmode: Transmetalized falcon
In another world, by another name, it is said that Tyrannekarde was once known as a great hero - kind, noble, brave, and in tune with nature. However, her mind and sanity were warped and shattered by the events which led to her arriving at Axiom Nexus. Horribly scarred both physically and psychologically, she retreated into the catacombs and shadows until the war on the surface awakened her from stasis. She emerged horribly changed - now with few vestiges of her former self, she was now devoted to completely demoralizing her opponents. Antisocial and cold, she stays away from the Decepticon population at large, despite her effectiveness in combat. Her battlehelm masks her original face- no Decepticon knows why she wears it, and none have gotten close enough to find out without getting slagged.
Though she attempts to maintain a cool demeanor, and is a master at aerial combat, Tyrannekarde is easily goaded into bouts of rage and madness which cause her to abandon all proper form and simply attack the enemy with reckless abandon. Her dual energon sai-talons allow her to deal maximum damage in close combat, and her twin jet boosters allow her to cruise at speeds of Mach 2 outside of combat and divebomb her opponents from the air with little warning. Tyrannekarde transforms into a transmetallized hawk - one of the few areas where the vestiges of her former self shine through in appearance. In robot mode, dual wields energon sai-talons and dons a thick anti-blaster fire cloak and battlehelm. Though heavily armored on her rear, posesses very little frontal armor, which is her largest weakness given her melee-oriented non-defensive combat style. Also posesses two weak shoulder cannons in altmode for downing opponents from the air - these can be equipped to fire independently of her consious thought (but with conventional AI targeting systems, of course).

Animated all the way.
My character
Name: Wavelength
Affiliation: Decepticon
Alt-mode: Bumblebee's Cybertronian form
Colors
Primary: Blue
Secondary: Yellow
Quick Personality: Impulsive and hot-headed, Wavelength is quick to battle the enemy; He loves a good fight, but he also likes to tease and taunt his enemy unlike the other Decepticons. He seems like he's only on the Decepticons side for the fight and not the cause.
Weapons: Sonic stingers, Can fire sound loud enough to push the enemy back.
EDIT:Alt Mode Changed
DaraRex2.0
05-26-2008, 11:04 PM
Name: Dynamic
Faction: Decepticon
Quote: "I won't ask. If I do, I'll get an answer."
Function: soldier (doesn't necessarily like to fight), scientist (isn't necessarily professional)
Alt: truck; specific: Avalanche
Bio: Often responding with a deadpan tone, much of what he says is not to be taken seriously. This irritates or confuses his colleagus. He has no license in the scientic field but his varied range of study is enough to make him somewhat useful. Typically he won't fight unless ordered to, or when surprised. If knocked into stasis his bezerker mode takes over and assaults enemis with a variety of taunts and if not weapons, snickering. It is not an actual threat but idea for suicide missions or filling in until Dynamic reclaims his bearings.
Weapons: A llittle disinterested in upgrades, he's equipped with standard plasma guns and two compact rocket ports primarily used for distraction. As a bezerker and close combat based he has trained to use his entire body as an advantage in battle, from his head down to his vehicle doors. When bezerker is given control, his face is inclosed by a helmet equipped with a gruesome grin and three separate spikes fixed to his forehead, and both audio intakes. His helmet becomes his focused weapon and will not remove until Dynamic is online once more.
Weakness: Dynamic's dry sarcasim is sometimes mistaken for sober suggestions, resulting in the impliment of these 'helpful strategies.' The bezerker helmet while his main font in battle, the teeth in the jaws are not meant to constrict foes and snap if too much force is applied. As Terra based he cannot fly and must rely on others or jetpacks to escape scenarios. He is also aquaphobic. <~~This is not one of his suggestions....
Odd Trait: He is fond of shiny objects
Noise Maker
05-27-2008, 10:38 AM
An original universe would be nice, but if that's not an option than I think Animated would be best. G1 has been overused, Beast Wars is, like you've said, already too fleshed out, the A/E/C has lots of potential, and that would have to be my second choice, and the Movie continuity hasn't had much fiction yet, so it could work.
Are we only allowed one fan character? If so, I'll choose Noise Maker.
NAME: Noise Maker
Rank: Free Lancing Mercenary
Faction: None, usually the Decepticons are the ones who employ him, but its not uncommon for him to be recruited by the Autobots.
Alt Mode: Racing Motor Cycle:
Appearance: Similar to Animated Lockdown and Prowl. Think of a horrible love child of the two. In vehicle mode, he has a human sized drone that can ride him. He covers the drone with holo matter, and disguises him as a human. Lots of times, usually when Lockdown is speaking to a human, he'll use this drone as his avatar and mouthpiece. When he transforms, the drone folds up into his chest.
Bio: Rude, snarky, and generally a very bad mech. Sure, he'll save a building full of orphans or a kitten from a tree, but only if he's paid. He'll hunt down and kill anyone, too, for a price. Ultimately, he doesn't care what he does - just as long as he gets paid for it.
Weapons: Two twin swords - both rather large, and he's packed with small explosives. They don't do TOO much damage, but they're not harmless. And they make a rather large bang when they activate, hence his name: Noise Maker.
Abilities: Skilled at tracking and at Cybertronian marshal arts.
Weaknesses: He's trained for close up combat, so if he were to fight against some one with long rang guns Noise Maker would have the disadvantage - the other Mech could shoot him down before he even got close enough to attack
He loves to interact with humans, often transforming in front of them and scaring them. He loves to tell a funny story, or play a joke on someone. That's in his free time, though - when on duty, he's serious and single minded. As soon as he's done saving those kitties or killing that Autobot, he's gone back to his "kicks and giggles" personality.
And now a little RPG scene, that shows his fun loving side:
Chris:
Place: Georgia
Location: Winding Country Roads
Terrain: Woods, Hills, Asphalt
Temp: Warm
Time: 8:00 AM
Chris sat in the driver's seat of an '98 T-top Camaro which was Red with black racing stripe. His foot pressed all the way down as he zipped past trees at 100 MPH and climbing, then he let of the gas and worked his way around the curve and gave it more gas. "Run baby, run." he'd say to himself as he laughed lightly. The car not of his own, but a restoration project for a customer. He wanted the ride customized so that he could get the most out of it, and he'd just recently got the thing in running condition... So far things were looking good for the little red car as it came to a screeching halt leaving burned rubber for 8 feet and then sliding into the parking lot of a small store, the only store for a long, long while.
Chris tosses his hat on and gently opens the car door stepping out and walking towards the building's entrance where he'd pull out his keys and unlock the door, and twisting the handle as he'd slowly stroll inwards tossing his keys on the nearby coffee table and walking to the fridges where he'd grab an energy drink and pop it open before going to the counter and waiting for customers. The old restored shop was an antique gas station, which despite rising gas prices had the cheapest gas around, only if for the fact he didn't have to worry much about money, and he knew that everyone wasn't going to drive this far out just for gas, cause they'd easily empty the tank on the return trip... which was a long haul.
Letting out a silent yawn he'd wait and relax not really expecting anything to come by.
Noise Maker:
Out here? Where there's nothing? That was one of the downsides of being a loner: sometimes, in your wanderings, you end up in the most boring places. Really boring places. Really, really boring places. Really, really, really boring places. Really, really, reallly, really...
See? It's so boring, I continue in a continuous loop of words. I just go over and over and over and over and over and over and I talk in run on sentences like this when I got bored like I am now and I really really really hate it because it's really annoying.
Noise Maker revved his engine, but the extra burst of speed gave him little pleasure. Sad, usually speed amused him.
Oh look, gas station. Old looking gas station. Hey, look, old looking car in the gas station parking lot. That could be fun, but petty. But, when your desperate, you do petty things to amuse yourself. Very petty things that should be below you, but, hey, bored.
Noise Maker pulled into the gas station and next to the old car. Was it a '98 T-top Camaro? Oh yeah, it was. Noise Maker liked that model. Oh, look, racing stripes!
Lockdown's rider held it's metal finger about an inch away from the car door. With precision carefulness , he touched the car. And, with one graceful move, ran his finger down the side of the car. With the precision of a plastic surgeon who was working on a filthy rich old hag, who scratched the leters "N" "O", "I", "S", "E", "M", "A", "K", "E", and an "R". He'd learned to write seven Earth languages, during his time on the planet. He liked how his name looked in six of them.
He inspected his work. Good job, it was.
Chris:
Had been sitting there for several hours now his attention focused on the ceiling what a dull ceiling it was. Getting up he'd stretch out behind the counter with a slight yawn, and after a moments rest got in push up position, and then in an attempt to wake up he'd do an easy 80 of them looking up on his 81st to see a motorcycle rev down the road coming to a halt right at the red Camaro. He grinned only momentarily at the sight of someone else finally. He hoped up on his feet ditching the goal of 100 his elbows seeking the counter as he watched the man, and then at the sound of screeching metal being dug into his eyes narrowed at the man, and he quickly threw on his leather jacket and with keys in hand ran out the door but it was to late by the time he was outside the man had etched the wording "NOISE MAKER" on the side of the car. Chris's face turned blood red staring at the man.
"Oh come on." He demanded at first. "What's that for?... I didn't do anything to you."
Pulling at his belt which bore on it a holster to a long knife he came over to the motorcycle fuming. "What then you arrogant punk, think your such a bad a** then lets go... Fight me like a man." Once more demanding the man to leave his bike and stand tall, so Chris in all his pint up anger might pound the dude into nothing more then pulp.
Noise Maker:
Noise Maker looked at the man that was...pulling at his belt? Wait, Noise Maker, don't judge people until you know them. Don't judge.
Noise Maker sighed. "Gah, I thought it was obvious. I'm a jacka**. I assume you're the bada**.
Noise Maker's rider took of its digital helmet, and revealed his digital face. It was a young face-early twenties-with bright eyes and a wide smile. "I don't fight fleshies. You squash to easily. Your guts get me dirty, too. And you fight for the pettiest reasons. So I blew up your house? So I came to your office, broke the coffee maker, and got you fired? So I accidentally ran over your eighty year old mother-which was an accident, by the way-? So I accidentally cut in front of your car, which made you fling yourself into the car next to you which resulted in a eleven car pile up? So I accidentally broke your fifty thousand dollar vase? So I scratched the paint of your car because I was bored? All I have to say to those things is: You shouldn't of invited me to your house, you shouldn't of invited me to your office for the Christmas party, your mother shouldn't of been walking in the rode, you were going to slow and I was in a hurry you old coot, who would pay fifty thousand for a vase, and your car was pretty!"
Noise Maker's rider winked. "Do you understand? I haven't been able to find anyone who understands. I hate being the only one who knows what I'm thinking. My psychiatrist kicked me out because I laughed at the guy who cries all the time. Is that fare? We're all freaks, there, so how did he know I wasn't the guy who laughs all the time? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. See, there I go again. HAHAHAHAHAHA."
Chris:
Chris still fuming at the sight of his car and hearing his words shakes his head in disbelief... Is this dude for real? he thought to himself as he was still cought up in the heat of the moment he snapped back. "Oh so just because you jacka** you get to go around destroying other people's sh*t because it ain't yours and it just doesn't matter?... Alright well how about i take a piss on your shiny ass bike, and watch as your ass starts to rust, be real funny then huh." pausing waiting for the dude to reply he balls his fist. "Well guess what. I'm not like all those dip sh*ts i ain't just gonna raise cane over something stupid... No" he shakes his head. "I'm gonna beat you to death that way next time you'll think twice before messing with me again."
WIth that he thrusts forward aiming for the driver's head fists flying rapidly as he unleashes a furry of rage upon him.
Noise Maker:
Noise Maker let this human hit him with his fists. It didn't hurt, and it was fun to watch the fleshy try to damage him.
"Wow, you're strong! You must be more powerful than a pare of chipmunks on steroids that know kung-fu! I'm impressed!"
Noise Maker frowned. "Come on, stop hitting me. If you don't, I'll make you cry more than a baby trying to play the hokey pokey. You know, walking is required to play the hokey pokey, and babies can't walk. Because, you know, they're babies. So they'll cry, because they want to play but they can't. Because they're babies."
Sadly, the RPG died and that little scene there wasn't finished. And he didn't get a chance to do his serious and down to business side, either.

Interesting idea. You can use my fan character, whom I'm currently writing a story about (currently on the back story). Here's (http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=177993) a link to that if you're curious. G1 would probably be best, imo. He could fit into Animated with some changes to parts of his backstory, though. Here's some basic info on him and the bio I wrote up.
Name- Raven-XL7
Nickname- Baron
Affiliation- Autobot
Sub-Group- Special Forces- Arial Devision
Function- Spy/Arial Support/Medic
Hobby- Science, Inventing, and Art
Partner- Database
Motto- "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt."
Alternate Mode- Stealth Fighter/Bomber
Raven-XL7 Bio:
One of the few Autobots to be released from the Cybertron Static Spark Ward, Raven-XL7 has been an outcast his whole life. Once the leader of a top-secret special-ops team, he was built with some of the most advanced weaponry and stealth technology known to cybertronian scientists. He's now one of the few Autobots still living in the ruins of old Cybertron, where he has few friends. Due to complications after what is widely known as an "accident", Raven-XL7 has many mental issues. The major one commonly known to humans as "Avoident Personality disorder", is the reason for his isolated habits, and his coldness to fellow Autobots. Because of his very anti-social tendencies, Raven-XL7 has been misunderstood by many of his Autobot comrades, and has been shunned by many of those he would have worked with in the past. There have been a couple Autobots who have been able to befriend him, but even then, they don't know him as well as they think they do. After the multiple years he spent in the special case's wing, and then many years after that in his isolation, he has kept the badges he wore as an Autobot warrior, and the prototype stamps that he gained when he was first built. Raven-XL7 would be a valuable ally to the Autobot Army if others would take him seriously, and would take the time to gain his trust, for he is one of few Cybertronians that could provide valuable info on certain powerful Decepticons, even if he doesn't realize it himself.

i like the i dea of the transtech universe, a free for all is good.
Movie "doom-lock" autobot
robot mode "T Rex" very scorpinok like in astetics.
Alt mode "tank"
A malestrom of violance and destruction,or at least thats what he wants you to think,in reality he is a kind gentile being that if had the choice would never harm any living thing.
He seems to just charge into battle randomly and with no regard for anything in he's way, agian this is a deception he is actualy a brillient stratigist and plans all his moves very carefully.
He wishes for a end of the war, but can never show it,he can never let any one know who he truly is,for as long as the decepticons are around the autobots need a beast of war.

So it looks like everyone is torn between TransTech and Animated.
Would the TransTech Universe be similar to the one in the FP comic, where it's the "nexus" Universe that allows travel to all Universes? Or would it be a new Universe of the continuation of Beast Machines, as originally intended?
Animated ... self-explanitory, though I think it would be set to be current with Animated on TV (ie: AllSpark in pieces, etc.)
Post your thoughts! Consensus from everyone will determine the Universe!

this is the only character i have so far, not sure if he'll fit in but here it is
Name: Deepfreeze
Aliance:autobot
Alt mode: penguin
partner:Whirlpool(also a penguin)
Function:recon/aquatic combat
Motto:If the freezing temperatures dont destroy you, i will
Crashed on Earth years ago near the south pole. The crash left his memory fuzzy and now lives mostly among the penguins and in honor of them chose that as his alterative mode despite stereotypical views on organic transformers. In penguin form he stands the same height as his minicon partner WHIRLPOOL but in robot mode towers over several others, due to mass shifting. Because of the environment his body is usuall covered in layers of ice giving a small boost in armor. His main weapon is the glacier cannon when Whirlpool attaches to his feet and fires a beam of ice freezing all in its path. His ferocity in battle is really himtrying to protect his penguin friends, who cant protect hemselves, and whirlpool, who sees him as a father figure.

Animated. What if it's a sort of AU that intertwines with the events of animated? The latest episodes coming out haven't had enough D-con <3
I was thinking more along the lines of this for Animated:
Word has reached Cybertron of growing Decepticon activity on the outskirts of a neighboring galaxy that threatens the intricate network of spacebridges that connect the Universe together. With the majority of the Autobot Elite Guard forces already on assignment both around other parts of the galaxy and on the recently discovered planet Earth battling a revived Megatron uprising, Supreme Commander Ultra Magnus makes a difficult decision and sends an attachment of rookie Elite Guard cadets to investigate the uprising.
When it's discovered that the Decepticon threat is much larger than first thought, it's up to the small ragtag group of Autobot rookies to stop the Decepticon advancement and, in turn, save the Universe itself!
.... or something.

I vote for Animated Kickback and here's three fan-made characters I just modifed from three G1 characters I created long ago, but haven't done much with since then.
Hope you'll find some use for them.
Shadow
Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Unknown
Alternate Mode: Jet Fighter
Motto: “Enemies are made from the ashes of one’s victories.”
Created originally as one of the many clones of Starscream, Shadow held no personality of his own until coming into contact with the AllSpark fragment embedded in Starscream’s head. Bathed in the mysterious life giving energies Shadow somehow obtained sentience despite the significant lack of Sari’s special key.
Shadow’s ambitions are his own, departing from Earth’s Moon he ventured forth through the cosmos until discovering a group of Decepticons working to undermine Autobot Elite Guard missions on the distant planet of Hydrus Four. Revealing his presence Shadow single handedly defeated the leader of the Elite Guard group and ingratiated himself among his fellow Decepticons.
Shadow’s primary arsenal is identical to Starscream’s. His internal null field generator allows him to render any form of light non-reflective upon coming in contact with his person rendering him effectively invisible. He can also use this ability to blend into the shadows surrounding him and teleport short distances along shadow corridors popping up at any location on the battlefield to successfully attack Autobots unawares.
Aerial
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Medic
Alternate Form: Rescue Helicopter
Motto “Stride for success and victory will be assured.”
A relative newcomer to the war Aerial is a third generation female Autobot, meaning she was built and given life in the past fourteen years. Having worked hard under the tutelage of former medic Valkyrie she was hit hard when her mentor perished in one of Shadows’ attacks. Her creator remains a mystery and many of the Autobots are concerned that she may devote too much of her time in the pursuit of that knowledge however it hasn’t adversely affected her yet.
Well versed in every form of medical knowledge she wields laser scalpels, arc-welders, electron microscopes and fluid dispensers both lubricating and super-cooled. Her aerial form allows her to fly and is somewhat unique among the other Autobots, her rotors have been sharpened for surgical cutting or when necessary aerial dogfights; she can achieve speeds of Mach 2 for 360 miles at a top range of 500 miles per hour.
Valkyrie
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Combat Medic
Alternate Form: Armored Personnel Carrier
Motto: “Decepticons don’t just disappear, they’ll be back someday and I’ll be ready.”
Valkyrie was a pupil of Ratchet during the last days of the Great Wars, it was his job to put back together fellow Autobots and he worked damn hard at his job. After the Decepticons were finally defeated Valkyrie retained his status among the Autobot Elite as Combat Medic, he refuses to believe the Decepticons are gone for good.
His vehicle mode is one of the strongest armored of the Autobots allowing for him to take heavy damage during battle and still manage to retrieve fallen soldiers transporting them to the triage he establishes in the area before any fighting has even begun. Stronger then some he is capable of lifting eight tons, his vehicle mode comes equipped with long range defensive cannons and short range offensive lasers. He also carries all of the tools necessary for repairs in his rear compartment, in robot mode he uses an electron scythe which is capable of slicing through most enemy armor.

I'm gathering some Autobots right now and taking what you've written in their descriptions and re-wrote them in a way that allows me to form a story around them, their own backstories, and how they will all tie together. Like with Beast Wars or Animated, as a writer it's easier to focus on a small group of characters ... so for those who submit multiple characters, don't be shocked if I pick the one that fits the story best right now in my head ... and who knows, I may use the others later on ;)

I like the idea of an extended Animated universe, myself. That way it could take place on a bunch of different planets and not have to even touch the cartoon's storyline.

I think I'll go with Animated, unless someone REALLY wants to push hard for something else ... in which case, post your reasoning here!
I won't touch the Animated cartoon storyline, other than things that were hinted (aka "Decepticon uprisings across the galaxies") already. So some characters I will need to rework somewhat. I can't decide if I want to post up the Autobot bios I "re-wrote" because it could give spoilers away :)

I'm game for anything.
Blade Runner
“I’m too old for this slag.”
Faction: Autobot
Function: Warrior
Strength - 10
Speed - 5
Firepower - 5
Intelligence - 8
Skill - 8
Endurance - 9
Rank - 5
Courage - 8
Blade Runner is rather quiet, though will speak his mind if he does not agree with something. Unlike Kup, he rather keep his war stories a secret and will only tell them to mechs if he feels a need to do so. Stays mostly to himself, but isn’t afraid to talk to other mechs and has in fact befriended several because of his kind and caring spark.
Abilities - Has the ability to lift nearly triple his weight which makes him very useful during recovery missions. Because of this, he is able to use extremely thick armor which can withstand minor laser fire and most melee weapons. He is also an expert swordsman and though his size may be intimidating, opponents are rather surprised at his quickness and agility during a sword fight.
Weakness - Throughout the years, Blade Runner has augmented his body to suit the needs of war at that time. This in turn left him slightly mad, though he doesn’t want to admit it. He suffers from split personalities which only happens when his life is at risk. He never remembers what the other personality does which leaves him questioning and wondering what he has truly done to survive.
Echo
Quote:
“Dear Primus, I don‘t kill for murderous intentions. I don‘t kill for fun. I kill to save the ones that need saving.”
He is a sniper, built by Shockwave and Megatron, but when he awoke he had an Autobot spark. How did that happen? Only Primus knows. He's blind, has a metallic visor over his optic casing and he has buffers on all his joints to make him virtually silent when hunting his victims. He see's through sonar and echo location (think of Daredevil sight). His hearing is incredible, so much so he can actually read the sparks of other Cybertronians. Because of this, he never misses when targeting a victim. He's a loner, only spends time with this teammates if they take the time to talk to him.
I think I have a better bio somewhere, if you need it.

I go for animated
Name: Sidewinder
Function: Detective/Conspiracist
Alegiance: Technically autobot, but takes cases from pretty much anyone.
Alt. mode: Think Obsidian, but more weapons
tech specs: take a look at my tech specs.
weapons: Sidewinder prefers deadly, short range, high, impact weaponry that will leave holes in his opponents armor. In vehicle mode, his wepons vary depending on the situation.
Personality: Sidewinder had no clue where he was when he arrived on cybertron via a mysterious force*cough* UNICRON *cough* Though he does not know this, He was created by unicron as a harbiture of doom, but Unicron screwed up his programming and other sytems, and he no longer holds control over him. When he arrived on cybertron to head Unicrons coming, he had no idea where he was, and went straight to autobot police, once there, he was given citizenship and some Energon to go off and start his life. Rather than join the military as most other 'bots were doing back when the great war was heating up, he went into the detective business and set up shop in the slums of Iacon. He's seen what the Elite guard likes to cover up, and that is how much crime is on cybertron, he gets an estimated 40 cases a month, and can only follow through on the highest payers. The things in the slums of Iacon are enough to make a bot crazy(maybe blitzwing went there), but he stays because there is work. Sidewinder despises the elite guard for the very fact that they do not try and help the slums, and has recently been talking with megatron in order to reveal everything the elite guard has covered up, their creation, the files on him which were confidential, Earth, and, most importantly to him, a name which he knows very little about, yet, whenever it is mentioned, the room hushes, that name, is Unicron.
Use my character! PM me if you end up using him!

I'm still sticking with Animated. Its open-ended, and has yet to really touch on the rest of the Autobot society.
The new Trans Tech stories could be good...but I just don't like the the idea of all the continuities mixed together. Just doesn't seem right.

Reviving an old character of mine with a twist on Animated.
Betatron
Decepticon General
Alt mode: heavily armored tank with pulse cannon (think Galvatron's cannon)
Betatron earned his rank of Decepticon General due in part to his leadership skills on the battlefield. Megatron himself once praised Betatron's quick thinking and overall military abilities in conquering large Autobot forces. Originally recruited by Megatron, Betatron believed fully in Megatron's vision of the Decepticons rising up to power once again to end the overly oppressive Autobot regime and restore a sense of balance to Cybertron. Though once Betatron learned that Megatron's intent was more to rule and conquer than to restore a sense of order in a torn Cybertron, Betatron quickly voiced his discontent with Megatron's vision -- which cost him a demotion and a banishment from Megatron's side. Sent to the far reaches of the galaxy on pointless missions, Betatron now realizes he was seen as nothing more than a distraction to Megatron and his goal. Betatron has now gathered other Decepticon outcasts by his side and has begun his own master plan to take Cybertron from the Autobots ... and even Megatron, should he be there when he arrives.
Weakness: Betatron's discovery of Megatron's true intentions and his vocal displeasure have cost him reputation amongst many Decepticons. It is commonly joked amongst Megatron loyalists that Betatron wears the Decepticon symbol only because there are no other symbols to wear other than Autobot or Decepticon. Betatron's lack of trust in those who are around him causes him to doubt everyone's intentions ... including his own.

This is an awesome idea.
Here's my idea for a character based in the G1 universe.
Roadburn
Affiliation: Decepticon
Function: Sabotage
Alt Mode: Dark Blue Lambourghini Countach (Like G1 Sideswipe) with flame design on hood (like Tracks or Hot Rod).
Bio:
Roadburn was once nothing more than a street punk and a con artist. Picking on helpless mechanoids for fun and profit were the only pastimes that interested him. He would often hang out with the Autobot Sideswipe, who even managed to convince Roadburn to join the Autobot army. However, Roadburn could never quite put his street-punk days behind him, and would often be reprimanded by Autobot command for pulling nasty pranks on less powerful Autobots. Roadburn also started to resent the changes he began to see in Sideswipe. When Sideswipe and his brother Sunstreaker were picked for the ill-fated Ark mission, Roadburn went to Sideswipe and asked him to see if he could get Optimus Prime to reconsider. Sideswipe refused, and the disgruntled Roadburn left the Autobots to join the Decepticon cause, betraying his entire squad to do so. Now Roadburn feels complete, reveling in the destruction he is allowed to cause as a Decepticon. Word has gotten back to Roadburn that Sideswipe is alive, and he has vowed to do everything in his power to destroy his former friend. He has even gone so far as to reformat his alternate mode into the same form as Sideswipe as a constant reminder of his new mission in life.
Abilities:
Roadburn has above-average intelligence, and great speed and strength. He is as capable a fighter as Sideswipe, whom he trained with during his stint with the Autobots. Roadburn can get up to a top speed of 350 MPH, which he can sustain for about 1500 miles. In vehicle mode, Roadburn's tires can secrete a flammable liquid that ignites when he rolls on them. This leaves a trail of fire behind him that catches any pursuer in a virtual inferno. He can also open special vents in his undercarriage to channel the flames into a flamethrower cannon that is stored in his hood. This flamethrower is also usable in robot mode. He is extremely resistant to high temperatures, and could even survive submersion in liquid magma. In addition to the flamethrower, Roadburn is armed with a Photon Pulse Rifle, which channels light into a white-hot laser beam; and a shoulder mounted rocket launcher that launches Scattershot Rockets. These rockets explode in midair into several smaller explosives that rain down on his hapless victims and can level an entire city block.
Weaknesses:
Roadburn's obsession with destroying Sideswipe can often interfere with his missions. He is less trusted than most Decepticons, and as such is often left to fend for himself in dangerous situations. He is also extremely cocky in his abilities, and can sometimes bite off a little more than he can chew. He always manages to get himself out of these situations, but he is starting to push his luck more and more.

Name: Cackel
function: bounty hunter
alt mode: giant henya
faction: who ever pays him the most
alt mode description: looks like jawbreaker but his head is normal.his suoulders in beast mode lack the detailing. all the meatal on his legs except for the blades over his front paws and blades on the back of the back legs is gone. and the plate on the small of his back is smothe. all meatal on him is midnight blue and the rest is normal henya colors.
abilities/eqipment: short range telaportation.shadow genarator*.sword skill.pulse cannon in right hand/henya mouth, small three person starship with cargo hold.
Cackel is insane. he findes comedy in pain, and working as a bounty hunter means to him that he gets paid for doing what he does any way except he just has to bring his target back. he is a ruthless fighter and will tear apart his enemy and bring his employer back the peices.
weakness: due to the fact that he laughs at pain, in battel he will often be incapasatated with laughter alowing him to be taken from behind.

Ooh, I like the idea of an RPG.
I was making my own RPG a little while ago, but then I scrapped the idea. I still have to forum I made for it, though, so we can use that as our RPG forum if we decide to use DaraRex2.0's idea?
I've already gotten the forum ready, deleted the old plot, redid the RPG areas, and changed the rules - they're now a LOT more lax than I usually play, but since the idea of this RPG is just to have our character interact with each other, I think they'll do.
Anyways, here's the forum if Kickback decides to use it:http://z9.invisionfree.com/TFOblivionRPG/index.php?act=idx
Of course, we'll have to wait until Kickback tells us what rolls our characters will have before we start RPing.
EDIT: You'll notice the RPG areas look a little sparse, but I'll add more when Kickback reveals where the bulk of the story will take place.

Whoa, been a while since I've seen a fanfic that used other fans characters, good on you Kicky! If it's not to late to throw in a character idea:
Name: Phasma
Faction: Decepticon
An engineering genius, Phasma's research has lead to technological advantages indispensible to the Decepticon cause, though some believe that there are finding's that he has been keeping to himself for his own unknown ends. It is rumoured that these secret experiments involved spacebridge technology and are the direct cause of his occasionally chaotic and confused mental state. The others leave him be though as although his mental instability is unerving, his genius is undoubted.
Prefering the solitude of his laboratory, Phasma is still a capable warrior when called for, and is indeed usually only called for when his unusual methods as a tactician are required. His flights of brilliance have been known to swing battles, though equally he has wreaked havoc on his fellow ranks with catastrophic decisions. As such his time on the battlefield is minimised to only when his unique brand of chaotic genius might be the best thing and probably last thing the Decepticons can break out.
Abilities: His chosen alt mode on Earth is that of a jet black helicopter gunship, his fellows believe this to be some form of sucking up to Megatron in his own helicopter mode, but the truth is Phasma prefers to float over the battlefield in order to better observe the goings on and so ascertain the best course of action. The results of his personal experiments have meant that his mind is not what it once was, rather than the permanently sharp and quiet scientist he was once taken for, his mind now tends to wander. Literally. At times he experiences phase shifts of his mind, allowing him to literally see the future, if only fleetingly, this is the cause of his tactical advice and the reason for it's apparent brilliance. Sometimes his mind slides to the past instead giving him some insight into past recent events in his vicinity. This 'gift' also functions as an affliction that can have terrible consequences and he seems to have no ability to control it...
Weaknesses: When his mind shifts, in order to preserve causality, he does not see his own future, but that of a parallel world, and as such at times, that future is not at all the same, this has led to some tactical blunders that would normally lead to his dismemberment by his own comrades, but his engineering ability and 50/50 record of incredible decisions stop them at just a severe beating. His intel on the 'past' he see's is usually taken only under consideration due to the same flaw in that he might have been seeing an unrelated past. Once before it wasn't just his mind that wandered to a parallel existence, but his entire body, he re-appeared a month later and didn;t stop gibbering for 5 days, his whearabouts during this time are unknown, however on his return he has a slash across his face, diagonal between his eyes that he has refused to have removed, to this day it remains a ghastly scar on his form...
*EDIT* Weapons: Phasma is able to deploy both the guns and rockets that arm his helicopter mode in both forms, however in robot mode he prefers to use his rotors as a shield mainly but can remove the tips to act as either hunting or throwing knives. The knives are capable of creating an intense emp field when thrown and electrical damage when held...

It is, indeed, a very awesome idea to use different peoples' fan characters in one fic. Wish I thought of it first! :D
And, I know this is your story, Kickback, but I was thinking about how my character Noise Maker could fit into it. If you don't mind, I just thought I'd throw some ideas for him out there...
It'd be really easy to have him as a Lockdown-ish character, or as a mercernary for the Decepticons, but my favorite thing about him is that he can fit in with the Autobots.
I haven't written anything with him, save for a few RPG stories, but I always envisioned him working with the Autobots - even if only for a little while before going off or joining the 'cons.
It could make a nice tension atmosphere for the Autobots - they could need Noise Maker's skill or knowledge of the Decepticons (since he does a LOT of business with them), but they could still be disgusted by him and hate him. He does, after all, hunt down Autobot and Decepticon alike, making him a monster to both teams.
He could also be a little like Dinobot; you know, working with the Autobots out of necessity. The Decepticons could have tried to kill Noise Maker, or something, because he just took a commission from the Autobots one time too many. Then he could join the Autobots, offering his skills if they give him protection.
Just some ideas. Sorry if I'm stepping on your toes, don't mean to be; just really excited about this.

S'all good man. I plan to keep the generic descriptions everyone gave me in tact. Things like "He's a bounty hunter, hates people" is something I will keep in if you wrote it. But if you wrote "Starscream's best friend, likes to dance with Megatron, and occassionaly parties with Soundwave" ... I'm probably going to throw that out :)
I'd love to go over everything with everyone for their characters, but I don't want to spoil the story. I will say that I will make sure each character has "their moment" so to speak, where you as the creator can be like "Hell yeah!" and all that. There's just a LOT of characters!!!!!
Stay tuned.

Dude... what RPG forum was this? Do you still have the fanfic you wrote?

Alright, since this seems to be based in Animated, I need to redo the bio for the character I want to use.
Tyrannekarde
Decepticon sub-commander
Function: Aerial combat expert
A lifetime ago, you couldn't drive a few kilometres without seeing some kind of billboard, magazine, or other media featuring the Cybertronian celebrity Chromia. Especially attractive and popular, she stole the spark of many a protoform, and her adorned many an Elite Guardsman’s locker. Rising to fame in the Cybertronian Olympics, her aerial acrobatics caught the attention of many aspiring female protoforms – and her other ‘assets’ the attention of the other robot gender. A warm, bubbly and outgoing personally, she adored the spotlight, posing in many a holofeed, endorsing various types of oil and energon, and of course putting on aerial stunt shows where she continually got more and more daring with her stunts as her prowess grew. Her fame quickly led to fortune, and soon her perfectly bejewelled, polished, and lithe exostructure topped many a list of the top Cybertronian figures. To a Cybertronian population weary after centuries of war with the Decepticons, she was just what they needed – a poster girl for a new start in pos-wartime Cybertronian society.
However, her charmed life was not to last. Enroute to a routine Elite Guard morale tour in the fringes of Cybertronian space, her private shuttle came under attack by a bloodthirsty crew of Pz-Zazzian pirates. Comfortably resting in stasis during the transit, Chromia was shocked to be brought back online not at the distant outpost, but onboard a rundown dilapidated pirate vessel… with many… unsavoury… pirates onboard. Over the next 150 stellar cycles, her life was a living hell – stripped of her valuables and personal modifications, and far from the fringes of Cybertronian society, her chassis was horribly violated and degraded as she was bartered and sold from group to group. Eventually, her once beautiful and perfect exostructure was a rusting, battered, discoloured and barely functioning wreck that could barely fetch a quart of ener-juice on the black market.
It was on the gaming planet on Monacus that her salvation unexpectedly came – while nosing through a surplus yard for spare parts, her battered and almost offline body was found and recognised by a Decepticon attached to Megatron’s flagship. Brought aboard the Nemesis, the Decepticon second-in-command Starscream was quick to dismiss the wreck until Megatron himself intervened. Having seen Cybertronian broadcasts while on the periphery, he realised that her skills could be of use to the Decepticon cause – much to Starscream’s chagrin.
Repaired, recharged and rebuilt, Chromia emerged into the medbay of the Nemesis. Though her exterior was largely repaired, her Spark had been dangerously close to going offline – as such, a reinforced power supply had been fitted onto her left side to house her damaged spark so it might recover. Psychologically however, her mind had forever been marked as ‘damaged goods’ – the psychological trauma had caused her to retreat into herself, resulting in a hardenened, vengeful personality quickly surfacing. Grateful for being rescued by the Decepticons, she agreed to join their cause and pledge her undying loyalty to Megatron – so long as he would grant her the means for vengeance.
Some stellar cycles later, terribly and swiftly, the space pirate vessel was caught unawares and off guard by a surprise Decepticon attack. One by one, each member was slain by the former captive, save for the remaining, cowering captain. Taking her time, Chromia slowly and meticulously took him apart, piece by piece, until he had gone offline in the most painful way possible. Lifting up the remaining, pleading head, she ripped out the vital components, donning her former captor’s helm as her own. As she lowered the helm onto her head, it felt right – no longer would her demons torment her – she had instead become them. A dark terror to destroy all her enemies, strong and unbreakable - the mighty air warrior, dark tyrant of the skies – Tyrannekarde.
Specs/Appearance:
Despite the damage dealt to her body by eons of harsh treatment, Tyrannekarde’s exostructure was largely restored to its former glory. However, in her embracing of her new allegiance and path in life, she changed her colors – from beautiful blue and gold to and imposing grey and dark blue. Despite her change in personality, her sense of vanity remained, and her centuries of violation resulted in a distaste for any bodily modifications of any sort. As such, in her primary form, she has no weapons save for twin energo-sais mounted to her arm – the crimson blades allow her to mete out death up close and personally. Lightly armoured in this form, however, she depends on her Decepticon combat training to keep her body dent free. As mentioned above, to the left of her chest she now sports reinforced armor and an extra power supply – originally implanted to save her Spark from extinction, she was inclined to keep it as a reminder of her salvation. Forever donning the helm of the pirate captain, she has not lowered her faceplate for centuries – in fact, few Decepticons have seen her without it. In her unarmored form, she transforms into a light Cybertronian stunt aircraft – though poorly armoured and without weaponry, it is heavily manuverable and able to slip past many scanners undetected.
However, despite her desire to never undergo any self-mutilation again, Tyrannekarde was well aware that proper protection was needed. With the aid of the Decepticon Swindle, she has overtime constructed a formidable battle harness which she wears at all times, ever alert. In robot mode, the harness, like a cloak, covers her entire body, providing a massive armor increase while hurting her manuverability. The harness can be swept back to allow her manuverability in combat, though again it exposes her main exoframe. Twin retractable shoulder cannons extend from the harness, ready to swing up and quickly fire at any enemies at a distance – however, unusually these are not connected to her main systems, but rather controlled by an AI bridge to her neural network (again, a result of her distaste for personal self-modification) – as such, the accuracy is only as good as the AI’s programming. In vehicle mode, her harness shifts to form an exostructure for her jet mode, its twin engines allowing hypersonic flight at speeds up to Mach 3 at cruise and Mach 6 for short, 30 second bursts (after which, the engines require a full cooldown). Twin laser cannons allow her some sting, and the heavy armor allows her to take a considerable amount of punishment. However, without the armor, again her chassis is very defenceless and easily damageable.
Personality:
Tyrannekarde, though once a charming, outgoing and friendly personality, has regressed into a far different individual. Her long years of suffering resulted in her self-classification as weak – unable to do anything about her predicament – and as a result her shellshocked mind created a new, strong persona which shuns what she was and embraces what she has become, shutting away all references to her former self. She keeps no momentos of her former time on Cybertron, and only a handful of Decepticons are aware of her true history and past. Donning her harness and helm, she never removes them to further shut away her former self behind a strong, tough, vengeful personality. Quick to vengeance and easy to anger, she has isolated herself even among her new kind – very few Decepticons are willing to approach her outside of combat, and fewer still she counts as friends (though she would not call them that – attachment implies weakness). Having her prowess and strength challenged is a personal affront and insult to her – she will lash out at the accuser and he will be lucky to make it out still online. Her demeanour has isolated her from all others, and she wants it that way – to keep her from being taken advantage of, from being wronged, from being preyed upon. As such she trusts no-one – the only Decepticon she grants any iota of trust is Megatron, as without him she would be offline in a scrap heap. However, though mistrustful, she is a loyal soldier, obeying commands, though not afraid to speak her mind when she feels something is poorly advised. Relishing combat, she has psychologically pushed her anger and loathing on to the Autobots as a release, taking uncharacteristic pleasure in attacking them for how they wronged her (despite the fact that the only reason they didn’t search for her was because she was thought dead, she has shifted blame for her tragic past onto the Autobots however misguidedly). As such she takes extreme pleasure in finishing off Autobots, up close and personal.
Weaknesses:
Tyrannekarde, as mentioned before, heavily relies on her battle training and her battle harness for added protection. Without the advantages it provides, her exostructure is weak. As well, she is dangerously and precariously imbalanced from a mental perspective – the right words will set her off into a fury-fueled frenzy whereby she will lash out and drop all guard. By the same token, she does not take defeat well – defeat is weakness. And she will not let herself be weak - resulting in her often overtaxing her limits in combat when on the losing end of a battle. Finally, she is afraid of her former self reasserting itself – she regards her former self as weak, as cowardly – but stripped of armor, captured and defeated, and unhelmed, her self-imposed mask could possibly be shattered, resulting in her old, weak paralyzed and shellshocked self reeemerging.
EDIT: Here's some art of Tyrannekarde as Chromia, before and after became a Decepticon. The 'after' currently doesn't have the extra body armor mentioned, and her face is fairly disfigured under the helmet. Helmet does have a faceplate, but she never removes it.

The Autobots were driven to a new planet call "Mecheron" while the Decepticons ruled Cybertron. I think that's all I remember of the actual RPG and I included that in the first paragraph of this story.
Some of the characters that were in it, from reading:
- Betatron (mine!)
- Novascream
- Galvamus Prime
- Grimus
- Gold Convoy
- Law
- Silver Streak (there was no official Silverstreak then)
- Mach 1
- Tresspasser
- Aurawave Con
- Raven
I was using Wordpad, because I didn't have MS Office ... :lol

I'm gonna update mine with some concept art later today - I whipped some up last night.
Design's pretty much TM Airazor, mind you - but that's mainly due to the fact that the fancharacter is based off a character who was based off a characterisation I used with my Transmetal Airazor toy.
I mean, I actually found a mask that fit on its head and gave it a cape! (Don't have the cape anymore, but I still have the mask)

Just a thought... but maybe we could hold it here as well. That is, if everyone wants to and if Kickback agrees to it... staying on one board is enough for me...:redface2: By the way, edited my first post. My OC is not going to be used. Decided that he is good only for the CAU TFW Adventures thread. Was curious, is this an RPG or a fanfic that you are writing?

Added some artwork of before/after becoming a Decepticon.
No art yet of the cloak though. That'll be like Thunderwing's shell in that it forms part of the altmode too.
Although now that I think about it, I'm less certain the character's Decepticon name works in the current context... it doesn't sound transformery enough to me... but I dunno.

G1 or Animated, my character is pretty much the same.
Name: Backfire
Motto: "Entering my lab, is like entering a black hole. No escape."
Apperence: Tall, Seeker style body; black and hot pink; with green eyes.
Alt Mode: F-15 Eagle Fighter Plane
Faction: Decepticons
Function: Mad Scientist and Rainmaker
Bio:
Backfire is a brilliant scientist. Or at least he thinks so. With little to no sanity left, this cackling madman is a force to be reckoned with. His special armour, modified to his liking, of course, is fitted with Acid Cannons that can corrode any non-organic substance. But his most notable "improvment" is his Neutron Void Tripper, or NVT. By attempting to combine Skywarp's teleportation power with Sunstorm's Radiation power, the NVT was born. It can allow Backfire to create wormholes at will. Unfortunately, he often finds himself caught by their gravitational fields and gets accidentally pulled in himself. Egotistic and cunning, he proudly serves under Acid Storm's command of the Rainmakers. He loves to cause havoc on unsuspecting humans and Autobots alike.
Stats:
Strength: 5
Intelligence: 8
Speed: 8
Endurance: 4
Rank: 7
Courage: 6
Firepower: 7
Skill: 6
There's the G1/Classics/Transtech bio. If it's Movie/Animated, just replace "Acid Storm" with "Starscream" and "Rainmakers" with "Seekers".

IDW doesn't like me. Back in the day, I teamed up with Tony B and Don Figueroa and we pitched them a ROBOTS IN DISGUISE comic. We got a response, but it was more of a "Thanks, we're considering many avenues right now and we just don't have the room for it" response. You know, the generic "No thanks, but please read what we do put out."
And then after we (Super_Megatron and I) picked up the scoop months in advance for Transformers/Avengers, I approached Dan Taylor at the convention and got more or less a proverbial "Not only am I not going to acknowledge it, I'm not even going to talk to you at all about anything" fuck off response.
Really soured my opinion of them on a personal level. Professionally? They do a decent job. They don't rely purely on fanwank like Dreamwave did, but at the same time I think a reboot with a redesign of classic characters like they did for their G1 story was the wrong decision to go ... though the story is interesting. And I like Simon Furman, but I've been reading his stuff since like 1991 ... I'd like some fresh blood, which is what made Dreamwave so edgey and so popular with Patyk and McDonnough.
Shame. I really did enjoy talking with Chris Ryall and thought he was a good guy.

Hope there's still enough time to submit a character but...
Name: Saber
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Elite Guard Cadet, Sentry
Alt Mode: Cybertronian Car
Galactic Power and Ability: Fast and proficient wielding of blades and quick on feet thinking.
Weapons: 1x Small Hand Blaster, 2x Energon Dagger Blades
Bio: Elite Guard job description - combating Decepticons, deep space exploration, glory, honor, and being a hero - not so for Saber. Saber trained through the Elite Guard program only to be designated as a sentry, and even worse on monitor duty. However, with the recent Decepticon activity on the Outer Rim, Saber was drafted by the Elite Guard to embark on a dangerous mission to take out the criminals. Although Saber has been waiting for an opportunity like this all his service career, Saber can't help but feel misplaced, unsure if his performance in actual combat - afterall, the Autobot - Decepticon war ended ages ago and all new cadets only train with mock trials.

Want my OC in as well.
Name: Mach Dart
Alligence: Autobots
Sub-alligence: Seeker
Function: Spy tracking and capture/close combat specialist/long-range sniper
Alt Mode: Seeker
Bio: The only Seeker to have joined the Autbot ranks without defecting, he has the record for the most spies caught during the course of the Great War. Mach Dart is an expert in close-combat situations, having taken out an entire armed team of Decepticons with only a training knife and his sharp wits. He is also a dangerous sniper, having the record for the most Decepticons disabled as well. Mach Dart perfers to track down the spies though, as that was his original function. He can track down even the best of Decepticon spies and they won't even know how they wound up in Autobot custody. He also is very intelligent and very observant. Because of this, he can tell if someone is a spy just by their body language or their tone of voice.
Weapons/Abilities: He has two pulse generators located in his arm mounted guns, a training knife (the one he used to take down that team of Decepticons), missiles on his wings, and a sniper rifle used for sniping.
Weaknesses: Because he is a spy tracker, he has to be very silent, so his armor is light and can be pierced if hit. It is only because of his speed as a Seeker that he is able to avoid getting hit. However, he can be shot down if he lingers in one spot. Mach Dart can also get very caught up in tracking a spy, so he is suseptible to falling for holographic images of the spy he is tracking down.
Accomplishments: He has tracked down 8,422 Decepticon spies over the Great War, and disabled 2,866 Decepticon soldiers in 22 battles. His greatest feat was taking down a whole squad of armed soliders when all of his weapons were down and all he had was a training knife, so many began to fear and respect him after that day. He also is known for solving probelms that otherwise seemed impossible, and only very few mechs can do such things.
Tech Specs:
Strength: 8
Firepower: 8
Endurance: 9
Intelligence: 10
Speed: 10
Courage: 10+
Skill: 10
Rank: 8
Noise Maker
06-08-2008, 06:05 PM
Edited Noise Maker. Added abilities, weakness, and weapons.
I'll just post what I added here:
Weapons: Two twin swords - both rather large, and he's packed with small explosives. They don't do TOO much damage, but they're not harmless. And they make a rather large bang when they activate, hence his name: Noise Maker.
Abilities: Skilled at tracking and at Cybertronian marshal arts.
Weaknesses: He's trained for close up combat, so if he were to fight against some one with long rang guns Noise Maker would have the disadvantage - the other Mech could shoot him down before he even got close enough to attack

I should like to maybe see my two favourite fan-characters in there.
Arbeiter
Function: Light Infantry
Faction: Decepticon
Alt Mode: 80's era Trabant
Bio: Small, yet efficient, and full of pride, he embodies the Decepticon proletarian that Megatron ostensibly wants to liberate. He may not be much of a fighter, but his undying loyalty to the Decepticon cause may surpass even Lugnut's zeal. Originally a civilian worker rushed into combat (in a sort of Decepticon Volkssturm), he dreams of a day when Decepticons from all walks of life can live and work together in peace and as equals, and wants to see the oppressive Autobot reactionaries put in their place once and for all. What he lacks in armament, he makes up for in intelligence, and when this is combined with his devotion, he becomes a natural propagandist. His mission is to stoke the fires of revolution in Cybertron and abroad to ensure a victory for the Decepticon cause. His weapons only include a mass-produced and poorly-made standard Energon gun, a simple knife, and little real combat experience, so it is unlikely that he can survive if outnumbered.
Overrun
Function: Heavy Infantry
Faction: Decepticon
Alt Mode: Delorean
Bio: Overrun is a veteran of many conflicts, and truly believes the Decepticons have been kept down by their Autobot oppressors. He sees the Autobots as obsolete, imperialistic, and exploitative, and wishes to see their ancient ways die off and give way to a free and equal future under Decepticon rule. To him, the Autobots are truly an evil, fascist faction that must be extinguished. Decepticon rule is the ONLY way to establish true equality and freedom. However, he doubts Megatron is the one to do it. He considers him corrupt and manipulative, and believes he is using the Decepticon's righteous revolution in order to gain absolute power himself. Regardless, he sees Megs as the means to an end, and is willing to aid him in establishing Decepticon control to usher in the REAL revolution. He has no aspirations of leading, he simply wants peace, and an end to his long military career. While not built as a combat model, he has quickly become a more-than-capable fighter, and has claimed many an Autobot's spark. His renowned skill with his trusty (though now considered obsolete) Energon rifle can get him out of nearly any dangerous situation.

Titanic X
06-09-2008, 04:44 PM
Can my OC be in too? Specs are below:
Name: Shroud
Alliance: Autobots
Function: Espionage agent/warrior/commander
Alt Mode: RMS Titanic
Motto: "Looks like it's time for a Titanic Impact!"
History: A former spy for the Autobots, she went on a recon mission to Earth to try and find useful information concerning a Decepticon attack in that sector for her commander, Setinal Prime. However, a laser assault badly damaged her body, sending her spark down to Earth, taking residence inside the Titanic. When the ship nearly struck an iceberg, it missed, thanks to Shroud taking control of the ship's systems at the last instant. A month later, the ship went missing...
Weapons/Abilities: Shroud's a skilled agent when it comes to gathering information. She tends to stick to the shadows, preferring to attack from there. The rear funnel of her alt mode serves as a plasma rifle/missile launcher, capable of firing a nuclear energon warhead with enough explosive firepower to blast an enemy's chest plate right off. The props of the ship serve as bladed shuriken, which she uses only for long-range, preferring a double staff formed from the masts of the ship for close range. The anchors and chains serve as grappling lines. Her special ability is flight, with the hull of the ship serving as her wings and the other three funnels serving as engines for her flight mode. Her other abilities include silent flight, sharp hearing and good vision, so good that it's said she can see a Decepticon a few miles away in bad weather conditions. Her hull wings also serve as a full body shield, deflecting any kind of weapon and protecting her from any Transformer ability. It's also said that no Decepticon combiner has survived an encounter with her. The few that did usually had an impact mark on them, a mark that eerily resembled the bottom of the Titanic...
Accomplishments: She is a very famous espionage agent for having fought off an entire squad of Decepticon fliers even when she wasn't supposed to. Her biggest feat was in taking down 3,484 soldiers over the course of three weeks, all with only her staff, aside from managing to get in and out of seventeen bases, each with vital information pertaining to the Decepticon forces and their plans in only a week during the Great War.
Weakness: She has no real weakness due to her hull wings. The only way to really get her out of the action is to strike her in alt mode right underneath the hull or to tear her hull wings right off, resulting in pain that can last for hours before she goes into stasis lock, hit her egines from behind, or force her to use her grappling lines to ground herself.
Specs:
Strength: 10
Endurance: 10
Speed: 5 alt mode, 10+ robot mode
Intelligence: 9
Firepower: 7
Skill: 10
Courage: 10+
Rank: 7
Special Power: She can blend in with her surroundings for the most part, except for when she's flying. It causes drain on her systems when it's used in flight. Her Shroud Fireburst creates a smokescreen to hide from enemies before attacking, resulting in her name. Her signature move is the Shroud Barrage, a missile combined with a laser that does more damage than with her missiles and lasers alone.
WAIT FOR MEEEEEE! Please? :(

http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/470/tfanimatedgravefillerbyrf1.jpghttp://img207.imageshack.us/img207/8301/subwooferbyshadowtoxingm1.jpg
Name: Gravefiller
Alliance: Decepticons
Function: Occassional mad scientist/even madder medic
Altmode: Hearse/Corpse carrier (earth/cybertronian modes respectively, don't know what the latter looks like though...Like Ratchet, but longer, more grim appearance and hovering?)
Gravefiller is an ancient Decepticon medic, but don't let his function fool you: He's no Ratchet, far from it. Gravefiller was a close ally of Starscream in the Autobot and Decepticon War, working behind the scenes to influence his "patients" in such a way that they supported the Seeker, by any means necessary. And he especially enjoyed the means in which he had to take apart things to put other stuff back in. He disappeared after the War ended, only occassional rumors about his existence popping up, suggesting that he was exploring the galaxy with a ragteam of Decepticons, but for what purpose is unknown, though the enemies he have left behind say that he doesn't care what the goal of that group is and that he's solely with them for the chance to find out how to best manipulate, twist or just plain hurt anything sentient he comes across. But there are also rumors that his latest target is Earth, or rather the United Kingdom, where he is having a golly good time by scaring the slag out of the British.
Robot mode power: Gravefiller isn't a fighter, but when it comes down to it he has more then enough things to defend himself with. His right hand can turn into a multitude of things, such as several medical tools (including nightmarish takes on injection needles and dentist drills), but also a giant chainsaw which is used for, well...That is better left to the imagination.
(Old profile, so change whatever you need.)
Name: Subwoofer
Alliance: Decepticons
Function: Jack-of-all-trades (is young, so copies everything the other Decepticons do to learn as much as he can and be of the best possible assistance)
Altmode: DJ table/hovering sound system (earth/cybertronian modes respectively)
Subwoofer is an...Odd little thing. He's extremely curious and hyperactive, and if one didn't know better, they would think that he's an Autobot. However, whenever he's with his adoptive father there's no mistaking that he's a Decepticon, for no Autobot would find themselves near the psychopathic Gravefiller and remain alive for long.
Many a Decepticon has wondered just why the slag Gravefiller even has a kid, since he's hardly the protoform-friendly type. This goes back a few years, when the ragtag team of Decepticons that Gravefiller was with had received a distress call from a Decepticon hospital ship that had come under attack from Autobot ships (who did not know that it carried innocent protoforms aboard). The rescue team arrived too late, for it had already been shot down, and was now nothing more then a destroyed wreckage laying on an asteroid. However, Gravefiller went inside regardless, and it was there that he found the sole remaining Protoform: The heavily damaged Subwoofer. He took the protoform back with him to their ship, and repaired the little Sub as best as he could, ignoring the mocking jokes of his comrades. He succeeded, though Sub's optic systems had been damaged beyond repair. At first, Gravefiller accursed this major handicap and was afraid that he would lose the little one to the cruelty of deepspace life, but Sub's own systems dealt with it, using his growing sound powers to give him a highly potent sonar system, allowing him to 'see' anything except reflective surfaces.
Gravefiller shall never know why he immediately cared so deeply for this infant, though he shall remain forever gratefull of it, especially since they've been inseperable ever since.
Robot mode power: Subwoofer is blind, but he has a highly developed sonar system that has quite a far reach. As long as the sound can come back to him, he will be able to spot anyone in his near vicinity. He also has highly developed sound powers, which allows him to replicate sounds or just blast stuff with audio-splitting soundwaves.
(Subwoofer has a newly written bio, just so you know.:) He also comes up to a bit above Filler's waist.)
