Eww, I'm totally not into these repaint. Never had any Cybertron toys, but they still look lame to me, the design don't fit at all with the new stuff from Universe. Nice review as always though :thumb

I wish they make a REAL Universe Blaster not a Cybertron Repaint or at Least give him a new head but I never had the mold before and I like it

Yep. New head/new chest (or at least have it painted like the box art) would have gone a very long way, and there'd be a lot less bitching.

I don't mind the repaint thing in itself, but we're getting SO many characters that are purely repaints. Significantly decreases the chance of getting proper updates with unique molds on a lot of these guys.

I Totally Agree! I wanted the Cybertron Soundwave Mold(Since I didn't own it before) and I love the Blaster colors and the fact I got this toy at Retail($30 including the shipping, what a DEAL!) I was happy to pick this guy up!

New heads don't grow on trees. Giving every new character repainted from an old character a new head is too much to expect every time. Repaints are a cheap, quick and easy way of getting new product out onto the shelves; new molds take time, money and planning to make.

I don't know how and I really cannot understand why... That is not Blaster. Its just Hasbro's way of making money by yelling, Hey! this is a new figure Blaster! look at the colors nevermind if its a repaint of Cybertron Soundwave... buy it please. I just wish they exerted a little effort by at least giving it a different head mold.

It was actually an Armada Hotshot head.

I might do the same if I ever get him, I already got Soundwave, I like him as a figure but just hate how difficult it is to get his legs and cockpit and body to line up again properly in alt mode.

Ugly. Looks like a chinese knockoff of soundwave you might find in a Big Lots store. That custom blaster was 10 times better. he should be red not that nasty orange.

I enjoyed that the Classics line was all new original molds of G1 characters, they should have kept it that way, a blaster that turns into an jukebox or Ipod would have been great. I just dont see Blaster as the Stealthy type, too loud an obnoxious lol.
