Since I'm kinda sick of working on the last comic, I'm going to make a (hopefully) better one that will (hopefully) be a little more fun on my end (it's great until I realize one shot takes half an hour because of various positioning and such. And my lighting sucks where I do that one).

^What he said. Big Daddy doesn't really have anger management issues, he just doesn't like when people mess up his "pimpness"... Spyshot and Power Jolt (yes, I did add a word there from the line for the lulz) both have one of the two disorders listed.

I blame the light. My bedroom/toyroom has terrible light (I mean like NONE) that I tried to fix (poorly) with the flash. My office gets direct light most of the day. Not the greatest place for toys, but there's always well-lit pictures.

I'm trying to make it funny, but I can understand that LOLgears get old after a while.

I'm glad you like the stuff so far. It's a real morale booster to see that people really do like what I roll out.
I will continue the other story, but not for a while. I need to obtain a figure I assumed I was getting for the last 6 weeks, but it looks like I have to find another one (damn online "trustworthy" people) before I can do the strips. If you want to know exactly what was supposed to be up (what figure, where it was playing in, etc.), shoot me a PM. Same goes for anyone else that reads the story and wants to be filled in detailed reasons for the absense. The missing figure isn't the entire reason, but it covers most of it (can't really move on without that part of the story and I don't feel like rewriting it to bypass the whole thing entirely). Like I said earlier, half an hour+ to do one shot was really getting to me. It won't die yet (unless one of the main characters dies... I still gotta replace a screw in Dark Fang Wolf, Landmine's joints are deteriorating, and I need to repair a part on Ironhide from a fall he took during a shoot) but it is on an extended hiatus.

^Just to echo the stability... Photon's legs almost "lock" into the clicked position, like they were meant to stay that way. It feels a lot more solid (and centered...) that way.

This was a great update! You really did a great job on Bumblebee's speech patterns. :D His lines felt exactly the same as the speech patterns his voice actor uses! :D It's also nice to see Spyshot avenged! :D I wonder if Bazooka has been cured of practical jokes? Big Daddy is worth tracking down ASAP, as is Bazooka (or the Armada recolor, like I have). BB and Scorpy are pretty good, but they aren't the greatest.

Also, I just ordered another cast member yesterday (for a pretty decent amount, but I expect it's worth it) and I have another one showing up today or tomorrow at the latest. Yes, they're both Animated figures... And I know I won't make them at all like their on-screen counterparts.

Thanks :D My Animated list now consists of Prowl, Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Starscream, and Voyager Prime (not shown because I've re-sold it) with Grimlock in transit. Him Grimlock get badass entry, too.

Leo Prime is far from the medic. More like Wheeljack gone bad. :lol

I'd at least hint at what's next, but I'd like to update before the time I'm expecting Grimlock. I'll see what hits me.

:lol It's nice having the figures early (especially those that I bought months in advance) but I'll kick myself later. Prowl was easily worth my $38, though... Grimlock's the only one I'm worried about. I know I'll like it, it's just will it be worth the entire $62 I dropped on it...

Just for the record... Prowl's ninja stars are the coolest weapon to come with a transformer in recent years.

As for Leo Prime... I'll come up with something to make him funny. Perhaps some "nom nom nom" during a surgery or something.

I'm surprised at how many weapons Prowl comes with! From what I remember, the last Transformer to have a throwing star was Beast Machines Optimus Primal. It's nice to see unusual weapons show up every so often.

I'm sure Grimlock will be great. From pictures, he looks to be one of the biggest of the Grimlock toys as well.

I just had a thought. What happens when Grimlock meets Leo Prime. Will he think he just met a mini-Razorclaw?

I'm actually not sure about how Grimlock will act... There isn't really a savage brute, but Prowl's already kicking ass. If it doesn't come to me, there might be a brainstorming session in your PM box later this week :D (EDIT: Tomorrow. Grimlock's at my PO. Yay tracking!) I might do a brains/brute combo with Prowl and Grimlock, since that almost seems logical.

I'm thinking Grimlock almost had to have been sent Express to get here this fast. It left Hong Kong on the 3rd, today's the 7th. It usually takes 4-5 days for stuff to get from the point of entry (JFK airport) to me (and there's 4-5 stops in between. Less than 4 hours to hit all those stops driving). There's no way it pulled the trip in half the time without being sent via a faster method. I'll know tomorrow for sure, assuming the doorbell works (it's fussy like that).

I'm pretty interested in hearing what kind of idea you have. Go ahead and post it here... I don't mind the hijacking at all.

It's not really all that much out of my pocket, actually. Bulkhead was a gift, Starscream was leftover Christmas cash, Bumblebee was out of pocket entirely (but only $20 total)... Voyager Prime, after I applied whatever easy cash I made and such from whatever, was only $20 ($60 - 30(I watched the neighbor's dogs for a weekend... told them I'd do it free, ended up getting paid) -10 (I know how to do Java. A friend of mine didn't. He gets in deep trouble if he fails. Once again, I said I'd do it free) = 20)... Sold that for what I paid, so I can transfer those unexpected discounts to Grimlock... That leaves Prowl, who was also bought on various under the table cash. As of now, my income is gone, so no more Animated stuff... But it's not like I'm hurting at all for paying extra (gotta make that money go somewhere... And it empties my Paypal balance without any fees :lol).

And either way... It was very much worth it. My recommendations for anyone that reads this: On release, go for Prowl, Voyager Prime and Bulkhead. Starscream is good, but not that great. Pass on Bumblebee entirely. When wave 3 rolls around late this fall, get Grimlock for sure.

Two words. Clown feet. They really ruined the whole figure for me. That and he ALWAYS seems to find himself with his legs in a "I'm using a urinal" position with his hands out in front like he's holding a birthday cake. It's not a bad figure by any means, just easily the weakest of the 6 that have been in my posession.

Prowl isn't an escape artist! I was gonna go for "hidden dagger cuts wire" but that's the cable for my camera that I use to shoot the comic. I probably could have done something cooler there, but I was still recovering from the dose of Animated I got over the past 2 days.

For the sword, I plan on borrowing an element from the Shinki cult. Same with Prowl's traffic light. Not gonna say any more (OMG SPOILERS), but you read enough comics to figure it out.
I thought that Grimlock was gonna snag Scorpy's tail and drag him over the edge, which may still happen....guess I gotta wait n see.
I was going to do that, but his tail doesn't bend that way without it being REALLY awkward.

I use the monitor stand off an old laptop dock as my footrest at work. My computer speaker sub at the house though gets used for a foot rest as well. ;)

On a quick side-note, how posable are Grimlock's arms? Can his hands turn at the wrist? It looks like it.
No, they won't really attack them. I don't have enough room for a battle here.

Grimlock doesn't really have wrists, more like mid-forearm joints. They rotate (required for transformation) and the right side also sets off the flame gimmick in the sword when it rotates. Other than that, he has elbows and shoulders.

Sorry for the off topic-ness, but I sooo agree with you about the multiple personality crap, drives me nuts.

the dialogue in this posting was really great. Prowl was all sophisticated and Grimlock was awesome with his sword from nowhere stunt.

And I'm still loving that he just calls him "bike man"

I don't mind the off topic-ness as long as there's one individual per post.(aside from staff edits, of course, but I don't see anything that'd need edited coming up here) It's not like the discussion isn't funny. And sometimes it inspires ideas.

I've actually found that it's driven me away from some of the comics because I don't feel like sifting through 2-3 pages to find the 3 posts that pertain to the comic and such. Half those posts don't even need to be there, as they're only the two personalities talking to themselves about something unrelated to the comic. Thankfully it hasn't spread elsewhere. I'm surprised no one's made a comic bashing it yet.

They sent $12 first, I called, spoke to a bitch that called me a liar (Well, sir, all I have here is $6X.xx in receipts. I can send you the remaining $5, but that's all I can do.)... I know I sent in 90 summat dollars worth of receipts, because I was within spitting distance of the $35 reward.

I spent the $5 on Stealth Bumblebee (and it's definitely not worth the $5 I paid out of pocket)... I'm putting the remaining $12 to something... Maybe an Iron Man movie fig... Maybe something Animated (I'd really like to replace that Voyager Prime I sold... I have until July 13th to come up with something)... Maybe some Joes... There's plenty out there (actually, it's a traveller's check, so I could get just about anything Walmart sells).
