Well, I think we can all agree that the 2005boards are a huge chunk of the online TF fandom, which also leads to problems with bandwidth and so on. So, in order to save space and keep the boards more streamlined, I have a suggestion. Would it make sense to simply have an auto-delete for any threads that go, say, 90 days without any new replies?

Threads that go that long without any new replies are probably never going to be seen again, so why not simply delete them and maybe keep the boards running smoother?

Just a suggestion.

An auto-lock may be better. Some people refer to old threads for info.

Maybe a seperate archive for old threads maybe?

And what be an auto-lock?

what he said. especially in my forum, its not uncommon at all to dig up an old thread to see how someone else did what they did to get a custom a certain way so that they may try their own hand at it...

But i like where your head is at...

It's best not to have old threads deleted as many of them contain reference information.
