I think it would be a cool thing to have as part of our profiles a "Collection Manager" which allows us to go through and select the figures we have. (There can even be an All-MISB or All loose button so you don't have to go through and say if a figure is loose or MISB).

I'd love to keep track of my collection this way. I think it would also be cool if there was a way to figure out how "Rare" a figure is basing it on how many case assortments it was included in. (IE, Alt Swerve would probably be a 1.00 on the rare scale, whereas Cybertron Prime would be around a 80.00)

Just an idea that I thought might be cool!

For every figure that has ever existed, TF wise? That'd be a lot of work.

A cool idea, but probably not practical.

Yeah for the rarity part... I figure it's a longshot...

Unless you do it wiki style, where users can add the files for the toys. Eventually you would end up with a database with all the figures. You could even appoint someone in charge of authorizing entries and varifying info.

Quick someone, we need the Nevermore signal.

Isn't there a complete transformers Checklist up on Transformers.com?

ya there are tons of checklists out there, i think its a really neat idea although i dont know how easy it would be to implement, for all i know it could be simple, and have it work with the "collection count" thing on the side...

I love the idea, but even assuming its possible do I see one potential problem...how many toys per package? Is G1 Prime one or three? Is G1 Ironhide one or two? What about Armada Prime (is his base a separate toy)? Giftsets? Loose Targetmasters or Headmasters missing heads?

This is why I do a package and a toy count...because the package count can't be disputed. To do a list for the whole fandom would spark a ton of debates about toy counts, as I just described, lowering many peoples' counts significantly. :(

This may sound naive, but would it even matter, since everyone's under the same system? I can't imagine caring unless I was competitive or obsessively nitpicky.
