Over the last month or so, I noticed when I logged onto this website and eBay, I cannot shut down my computer properly. I know ebay is using Java in their website and don't understand the purpose of it. I wanted to know if TFW2005 website is using Java for the website? How can I fix my computer so I can shut it down properly after leaving this website? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't think Java on a website would cause your computer to not shut down properly. Maybe a virus or something. Have you run a virus scan lately?

This site does use Java, as does ebay, but i dont think that java in and of itself would cause a computer not to shut down.

I would suggest reinstalling your browsers (IE or Firefox, etc), and also do the virus scan.

Thank you all for your time to answer my question. I will definately look into it, especially updating my virus scan.
