Any advice on how to make a sig

Hey guys, I'm sure this isn't your intended purpose for tech support, but I was wondering if you guys could give me any tips on making a sig picture. I have a couple ideas and the pictures, I just need the know-how to make one. Any help or directions to a helpful site would be appreciated.

1. Open imaging program.
2. Use imaging program tools to create signature picture.
3. Make sure signature picture is under 400kb in file size and 300 pixels in height by 500 pixels in width.
4. Save file.

It doesn't get easier than that.

u can use something as simple as paint. or something as complex as photoshop. what do u have access to?

And try to jazz it up a little. (still has to be under the 500x300 limit and less than 40KB)
