Without the shoutbox.

Did I miss something about it being taken down? I remember Darth Dinobot spamming it up whenever that was... So... What happened to the shoutbox? I'd really enjoy its return along with *I hope* many others.

The shoutbox is a huge strain on system resources. It's great for smaller boards, but larger ones like this one it really bogs things down.

The boards always worked when we had the shoutbox, but now that it is gone, the boards rarely work(improving)...

But James is right.

The Shoutbox was a major resource hog in terms of MySQL. And considering a whopping 5 of you ever used it, it was determined to be a, please forgive the term, "waste of bandwidth" to continue it.

It will never be coming back.
