When writing the characters in the two factions, and pretty much the actions of the factions themselves, do you have the Decepticons percieving themselves as the the good guys, and the Autobots are the bad guys to them(something along the lines of evil being a point of view)? Or do you have the Decepticons knowing that they are evil, and not really careing what they do, they just want to destroy the Autobots and get the Allspark for themselves?
Thanks for the time,
Joe | Yes. The Decepticons can't understand why the Autobots wouldn't be interested in preserving their superior race at the expense of a lower life form (human race). |

Thanks for taking the time to look in on here in what must be a busy schedule atm. | Luckily nothing has to be reshot. Yes, we were on set last week to write it into the movie, not because it's absolutely necessary, but more because we want to make sure Shia's hand is protected for the remainder of the shoot... |

you said a while ago that you're interested in IDW's "Reign of Starscream" comics at least from the position as a fan.
Have you been keeping up with them thus far? Personally I think they offer a damn good, accessible characterization of Starscream that goes beyond his one-dimensional G1 self while still being the same general character type, just a lot more layered and with a more believable motivation.
Is that the character type you'd also use for Starscream in the movies if you were to give him more screentime? |

Basically what i'm asking is whether we'll be seeing the VA's for returning characters from TF1 back in TF: ROTF.
Personally, I think they all did a great job, since they're well established voice actors and would make logical sense to bring them back (save the new VA's for new characters perhaps).
I'd also like to cast my vote to have David Kaye voice or cameo somewhere in the TF movie franchise. He's done Megatron longer than Welker did, and is currently portraying Animated Prime very well. I think it'd be great to see him recognised even in a minor role voicing a TF in the film franchise. I'd also suggest Gary Chalk but last I heard he wasn't very keen to return to the TF franchise.
I know it's a shot in the dark asking this, but what sort of amount of screentime can we expect for Sam's parents? I'm probably one in the minority, but I loved his parents, and am glad to see they'll be back in TF2. I just wanted to know if we'll see about the same amount of screen time for them, or whether they'll have more/less.
